I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

If you don't experience any problems with the roster file before the patch, it should be perfectly fine after.
Of course it's possible that your file does have the bug and you just haven't encountered it, but if you've edited 116 teams I think you should be okay.Comment

Yeah, I didn't post anything today because the only news I had to report was that I didn't have any news to report... If Sony QA works the same hours our QA does, there is still a half hour lef tin their day, so I may still get a call by the end of the night, but with each passing minute the chances go down. If you don't hear anything from be by about 10:30 EST, then it's a no go for tonight.

Re: NCAA Football 09 Patch #1 Available
I'm not blaming anyone in particular, but this is just not acceptable in my opinion. The fact that this has been out for almost a week on the 360 is what makes in unacceptable. I have no problem voicing my anger with this situation because I am a customer of a product and expect service. Not only from EA for the game, but Sony for the PS3 that I bought. The whole thing about "next gen" gaming is allowing us the advantages of patches and incorporating the unit into a "media center".
I am in sales and know how important it is to service your customers, especially when your product is not up to par or not performing as advertised. I do appreciate the updates from the EA team, but in all honesty it should have never gotten to this point. I know Sony and Microsoft are two completely different entities, but if Microsoft can get this patch out to its clients then I don't see how Sony needs an extra week. The "complications" cannot be that complex, I'm sorry and don't buy any excuse.
If Sony wanted to win some of their customers back then they should be testing patch 2 as we speak and make it a priority (before worrying about a single other game) to please NCAA fans by making sure its out before or at the same time as Microsoft.
I am a loyal PS3 and Sony advocate, but I am extremely irritated by their lack of service in this situation. I feel as a consumer that they are putting "patches" on a low level of priority and care more about development in other areas and that is not right. If they cannot achieve their goals in terms of completing patches/testing in a reasonable time then they should hire more people to fulfill their obligations.

Re: NCAA Football 09 Patch #1 Available
As I said before, I'm not getting into the details but.... the reason the patch failed with Sony and not MS is because it was something specific to PS3. The problem wouldn't be an issue with MS because it basically can't happen with theirs.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 09 Patch #1 Available
Sorry guys... we just hit yet another hitch. We got as far north as Maine when we realized, as Floridians, we weren't prepared for the colder temperatures of the North Pole. We are regrouping to figure out how to deal with this problem and it looks like we are leaning towards outsourcing the job to eskimos. I should have more for you later.. That's it, I'm jumping on the Polar Express and taking care of this myself.
