Sorry for the dumb question. I have the Xbox Live account so does this mean the next time I boot up my Xbox the patch will download automatically?

Or do I have to do any menu navigation to get the patch?

It will do it the next time you load up the game.

I am playing now and it tried to update now but I figured I would lose my game so I said no and will reboot the game after this game.

Yes, but not curious about depth charts, rather editing. In other words, do existing roster files still freeze after you edit players, or do you need to start up a new roster file and go from there?

Yeah, I think a new roster set needs to be created. Not sure what Wallace is talking about.
