FORGET THAT hahahahahahaha
How is it B.S.? It is grading you on your sportsmanship and I can only see that as a good thing.

Do you have a problem running the ball when you are up by three scores? Do you go for it on every fourth down? Do you constantly kick onside kicks?

If you don't do these things you probably aren't going to get penalized by Season Showdown. If you do in fact do these things please post your gamertag so I can avoid you.

I'm not a cheeser by far...but thanks EA for making me be rated like one.

If I had formation subs then I wouldn't have to pass on 1st or 2nd down when I'm up by 28 because I would have a package with my third string running back. Or maybe if my 97spd 66 ovr rated running back wasn't the BEST PLAYER IN THE GAME, he wouldn't have 4 TDs on 6 carries! I might be passing so SUPER LINEBACKER can get a pick six and keep the game COMPETITIVE. But then again, whats the point of substituting when the CPU DOESN'T SUB WHEN THEY'RE WHIPPING MY A$$ 51-13!

(Just venting because I have to play the same game for 2 years. 2010 sounds like what 2009 was supposed to be. Because with no major game additions and all fixes to what didn't work last year = NCAA 2009 1/2 lol)

Don't get it twisted....this is still a first day buy for me!
This is all just to help make the online gaming even better and it needs all the help it can get since a lot of people are so desperate about leaderboards they will do anything to win.

You can still do whatever you want when you are playing online but other people will now be able to see how you play the game and if you are the type of person they would prefer to avoid.

I just wanted to point out that the title is VERY misleading. Accelerated clock has not been confirmed. A chew clock has and it sounds like it may be different. Until we know for sure what a chew clock is it is not correct to say that accelerated clock is confirmed.
This is how bad rumors get started.

As much as I want to get back to buying the NCAA games, the framerate in that clip wasn't too smooth plus the animations are not looking as hot as I think it could. Madden 10 is spoiling me with some of the latest vids I've seen...but I still want this damn game. Lol. I wonder if the demo will be out at the beginning of next month or at the end of this month? I want in.
Just cuz you pour syrup on ish....

Since when has there ever been an accelerated clock that did not apply to the cpu?

Maybe I missed something but I never heard them say that the chew clock is accelerated clock.

To me it sounded like chew clock was a button you push late in the game when you are running out the clock so that you do not have to sit there waiting for the play clock to run down.

A real accelerated clock would always run down the play clock no matter who has the ball including: me, cpu, my cat, fred flinstone, etc.

I agree i'm just saying we haven't heard exact confirmation that it's in for the CPU. and yes you missed something watch the vid again the exact words, "chew clock is something new we added this year in the game, it's basically accelerated clock" then they go on to describe exactly how acc clock has always worked except they don't mention anything about using it while you're on defense

in the video he said, "this year we added chew clock, which is basically accelerated clock."

there is an on/off switch in the play call screen. hopefully the CPU can use it. other wise there wouldn't be a need for it honestly, unless your playing a user game.

That still leaves me confused. If he would of said - which is accelerated clock- I would understand but he threw in the word BASICALLY and that causes confusion.

it shouldn't. like i said he went on to explain it and it's exactly the way every other version of accelerated clock works sans the cpu stuff

the blog on the EA Sports website answers some questions about 4th and inches and Texas Tech Style offense. It basically says that you will only get docked for 4th down if it is an unrealistic situation. I assume that if Corso say's it's OK, then it is. They say that if it is borderline, then they will give you a warning.

                          Straight from the blog:
Continuing to Pass late in the 4th quarter with a comfortable lead

This one is not an affront on the Texas Tech's of the world, but if you are passing on 1st or 2nd down in the 4th quarter with a 3 score lead, then you are going to lose some credits. Even Mike Leach would be fine with you running the clock out here.
Well there you have it. That's what Sportsmanship is all about. One last note, the situations and scores are all tunable after the game launches. So if we missed a situation, or need to make an adjustment to the scoring we will be able to do that automatically and not through a patch, which will allow for very quick turnaround if an issue comes up. And if one does, I have no doubt you will let me know.

Don't know which TT game they've watched before lol

One thing is certain, if Bob Stoops and/or Mike Leach played this game, they would have the worst sportsmanship rating.

I loved accelerated clock and I hope the cpu will use it if I have it turned on!

Someone posted a top 25 so far and it looks like Boise St. will be 14 or 15!

My only beef with accelerated clock is it turns off late in the game. It should always be on if you huddle!
