I really liked the demo, playing it for what it is and not picking every last thing apart. Players do lack responsiveness but overall I had fun playing the game. Still not going to buy it because I want to put the little time I have into playing Madden but this game is a definite upgrade over 09.

the thing about the camera that annoys me is how far away it is when you're passing, and that it doesnt get back in close quick enough so you cant really user catch because you cant see anything.

I am a game play guy and game play so far is better than 09. I love the feel of the pocket and how the defensive ends really get after your qb if you break the pocket.

Mine too. I haven't been seeing any major graphics issues and I downloaded both versions. Really enjoying the demo so far and can't wait for the game to drop. My main gripe while playing through, I've read won't be in the retail version (the overdone/over the top tackles) so I'm pumped.

I must be playing a different demo than you. I have been able to scramble countless times 15 + yards with Bradford. It is even easier to do so this year. The DL pass rush isn't any better either. They don't get pancaked for sure, but there is no pass rush either.

maybe i'm the only one who liked the demo? i thought the qb play was improved over last year. for one example, i had a wide open man running a slant over the middle. i throw to him for an easy td, but instead of putting it on target my qb puts it just over his head and the safety behind him picks it off. it was just a bad throw. (i believe it was bradford). in the same line, when playing on d tebow threw a ball to the sideline but it was behind the receiver. the receiver slowed down to catch it but my defender had the angle and grabbed the easy pick. the inaccuracies were there and i liked it.

the running game was alright. playing as florida i really enjoyed the multiple options and reverses and stuff. but the real ground game, with ou, was pretty good. they have an elite rb so it may just be that, but i found it good. it wasn't easy picking up yards, but following holes and the flow of the play made it realistic but still enjoyable.

the presentation hasnt really seen any changes aside from bands and erin andrews' voice, but comparing it to madden is almost not fair. i don't hate it.

and, dont forget- the windsocks looked awesome.

exactly. the ball travels way too fast and the camera doesnt keep up. EVERYTIME I threw a TD in the back of the end zone and had to rely on the announcers to say if it was caught or not, because I couldnt see it.

Not sure if any of this has been posted yet, i dont feel like looking thru 80+ pages, but while playing the demo, ive noticed some glaring glitches. There's one that happened to me twice in my last game. The center snapped the ball and it went over my qb's head and went about 10 or so yards back and it was called an incompletion...it was wierd. Another thing is while time was running out in the 2nd quarter, i was on D and Florida threw a pass to the endzone, it was about a 40 yard pass, i picked it and started running it back. The offensive line just kinda stood there in a bunch, but as i started to get closer its like they got an epiphany that they should try to tackle me, and came after me and knocked me out of bounds. The final glitch i saw, was at the end of the game. I was on the 15 yard line, score was 14-14. I ran a fb dive to get lined up for an easier fg attempt. The clock ticked down to :02 left. I called a time out it takes me to the whole chose your style thing...ok then the CPU calls a timeout..takes me back to the chose your style...CPU calls another timeout...takes me back to chose your style...then cpu calls yet another timeout. Then i get to chose my style and kick the FG for the win. But seriously, three t.o.'s in a row?? Other than these things i really like the game. The player lock is really fun especially if you're blitzing a CB/Safety.

There's a little more touch on the passing, but overall this feels like the same PS2 crap that this game has been for the past 5 years.
                          I can't believe more people aren't complaining.
And I liked Madden at E3, I'm hoping they just couldn't do much here with all the major bumps reserved for Madden.

                            1. Playerlock Cam. On defense the biggest problem with this is if you are Dlineman, and its a passing play. For all intensive purposes, you are done if the pass gets off. For as great as the views are, you need to be able to switch the nearest defender.
So Player Lock cam is a "Con" because it locks you onto a player...? It's doing what it's supposed to do. Just dont use that cam if you want to switch players.

The AI in this game is garbage. I was up late (FLA) and the cpu (OK) had the ball with under 1 minute left in the game. They complete a pass that is not a first down. Guess what they do... Go into the no huddle (no problem there). Then the QB sits barking signals for over 10 seconds like he is trying to draw me offsides. After that he audibles and the offense resets. The QB then snaps the ball and spikes it All with 2 timeouts left.

Then to make matters worse, on the last play of the game I go into a prevent defense and player lock as the RE. To my surprise, my secondary does not cover any one past 15 yds down field and the cpu completes a hail mary bomb to a wide open man (no man within 30 yds of the receiver) for the TD and the win. If your CPU teammates are going to be so brain dead player lock is a waste of time.
