Re: Anyone else not able to play NCAA after the Madden demo?
Just FYI - there is a game speed slider in the game (just not in the demo). We shipped the demo on "Slow" game speed to showcase those major differences and make the game slightly easier to play for those that maybe are new to the Franchise. You can bump the speed back up to be exactly what NCAA's is.Comment

Re: Anyone else not able to play NCAA after the Madden demo?
Exactly. I barely got through 5 minutes.
Madden's demo default gamespeed is awful. I feel like it was built for a senior citizen. No football game should ever move that slow. Ever."Hard work beats talent, when talent isn't working hard.”Comment

MAN, do i ever agree with you on this one. I played one demo sitting of Madden and went back to my NCAA dynasty, which is getting really good, 3 teams with 2 losses in ACC battling for division titles and ACC championship berths. GREAT drama!!!Comment

Re: Anyone else not able to play NCAA after the Madden demo?
I like that both games have a different feel to them. NCAA = faster and lighter physics. Madden = slower (which is how I will play it) and weightier physics. There's plenty of room on my shelf for both of them.XBL: Mean Greene

Re: Anyone else not able to play NCAA after the Madden demo?
After reading so much about Madden, I expected to be blown away by the demo. I downloaded it yesterday, started playing and was like "eh". I turned it off and went back to NCAA.
Of course, I prefer college football to the NFL.Comment

Re: Anyone else not able to play NCAA after the Madden demo?
I'm enjoying NCAA so much that I'm not interested in playing Madden I've always been a madden guy and just decided to give NCAA a shot over several years. This game is solid and far surpasses last years madden so I'm refreshed by it and will hold off on madden until the price goes down.Comment

Re: Anyone else not able to play NCAA after the Madden demo?
Totally agree about the guys above stating it was way too slow. On kickoff returns and in the open field you feel like you are running in quicksand. I'm sure it helps guys read the defense but I don't want it to feel like stratomatic football. I want to feel the speed of a great football player. Instead I feel like I'm running in quicksand but at least you can change that on retail (should have made that option available in the demo). And I don't like that camera either.
Overall I think Madden will probably be a very good pro football game and it has a lot of customization options. But I'm not sure the actual gameplay will be upgraded to the point where a college football fan stops playing NCAA to play Madden.Comment

Re: Anyone else not able to play NCAA after the Madden demo?
I just played my first game on the PS3 demo version this morning and IMHO it's a night and day difference. Madden (even in demo format) is a vastly superior game of football; it is more refined and polished. Being an NFL guy doesn't hurt the cause either, but I may be trading NCAA 10 in to get the $40 towards Madden. NFL 2K5 and APF 2K8 were already better football games than NCAA 10, and now it appears that Madden will be as well. I'm truly in awe how of much Madden improved in 1 year. Hopefully, the retail version doesn't disappoint.Comment
