Whew. I was just thinking that what this forum is missing is a thread solely created to trash NCAA. But thank god, in the nick of time, here it is. Finally people interested enough in NCAA 10 to visit the OS message board for it, finally those people have a place to vent. It's just been so oppressive around here lately. Thank you, thread starter, for freedom.

Just FYI - there is a game speed slider in the game (just not in the demo). We shipped the demo on "Slow" game speed to showcase those major differences and make the game slightly easier to play for those that maybe are new to the Franchise. You can bump the speed back up to be exactly what NCAA's is.

I just played my first game on the PS3 demo version this morning and IMHO it's a night and day difference. Madden (even in demo format) is a vastly superior game of football; it is more refined and polished. Being an NFL guy doesn't hurt the cause either, but I may be trading NCAA 10 in to get the $40 towards Madden. NFL 2K5 and APF 2K8 were already better football games than NCAA 10, and now it appears that Madden will be as well. I'm truly in awe how of much Madden improved in 1 year. Hopefully, the retail version doesn't disappoint.

Speed the game up, take the refs, formation subs, gang tackles, and presentation out and you have NCAA FOOTBALL. I'm sorry but the game, preplay controls, formations, everything is identical to NCAA football. Once I get the game and change the speed the transition to MADDEN from NCAA will be instant.

I'd almost say the opposite, I have a difficult time playing that Madden 11 demo after playing NCAA 11. Maybe Madden 11 retail will be better though.

I really like NCAA this time. We like it even better when they get the dynasty mode fixed. I been a Madden fan ever since the SNES days. I may get madden this year. I don't know yet. As for the new Madden demo, too much button pushing to get the simple things you to get done.

I can't be more emphatic about this....after the playing the demo of Madden my love of NCAA went through the roof. And let me be clear - I am 100% an NFL guy. But madden seems so incredible stale and lifeless compared to the brilliance that is NCAA 11. If anything - the demo made me drop Madden from a purchase to a rental.

...and don't get me started on the Strategy pad fiasco.

If I am lucky enough to get Madden this year then I'll play both. I haven't bought a Madden since 2004 but I enjoyed the demo of 11. I'm more of a college football guy on the console and real life so I won't be trading in NCAA 11 especially now with a patch on the horizon.

I'll probably wait for Madden to show up on eBay, Amazon, Half.com, etc at a lower price before I buy it. In the meantime it'll be NCAA all day.

I, like an idiot, clicked on this thread and read through the first 20 posts I figured it out. I was like "why did these people put NCAA '10? Don't they know it's '11?"

Anyways...I played the Madden demo and did not like it at all. I just don't like the NFL to begin with, so that's that. Demo is now off my HDD, not buying Madden.

Actually didn't enjoy the madden demo AT ALL. Like NCAA better.
