Re: The worst thing about this game, and a solution
Yeah my cousin (game designer in training) gave me a crash course on gaming a few years back. It sure would be nice if all features could be ported, but like you say, it doesn't work that way.

Re: The worst thing about this game, and a solution
I had formation subs, I had the screen shaking and the crowd going crazy, my players had skill and ability composure bublles and I could see the other teams as well AND there were great stat overlays (number of tackles, qb passing ratio to each side of the field, etc.). Man I love this game... it's too bad the graphics are so weak. P.S. the running backs don't turn on a dime... wow!
yeah i loved those stat overlays. NCAA is the only game i buy every year (TW every other year) and i miss those stats.. i actually forgot about the passing ratios to each side and deep/ near.
i think youve got something there as far as combining those basic features with the better graphics.... just need better gameplay now. and can we get some better commentary? im tired of *******... err Corso talking my HB's rushing yards... 100 of them!Comment

Re: The worst thing about this game, and a solution
That's why EA deliberately kneecaps NCAA. They want it to be good -- but not too good, because it's just the warmup game.
So NCAA fans will always be left with the table scraps. NCAA 11 will play like Madden 10, NCAA 12 will play like Madden 11, and on and on and on ...Comment

Re: The worst thing about this game, and a solution
It use to be the better game!!! 04-06 was an amazing period for the series. I still play and enjoy them but, man just give us the little things we love and miss.Gaming hard since 1988
I have won like 25 Super Bowls in Madden so I am kinda a big deal.Comment

Re: The worst thing about this game, and a solution
06 was the year when NCAA was insanely better than Madden IMO at least. 04-06 was the Golden Age for NCAA Football IMO.Comment

They are so weak and random on next gen versions.

Re: The worst thing about this game, and a solution

Re: The worst thing about this game, and a solution
If my NCAA06 didn't look like **** on my HD TV, I would even bother with NCAA10. I'd update my 06 rosters and play with that. NCAA06 was epic compared to 08, 09, & 10.Comment

Re: The worst thing about this game, and a solution
That'll never happen. Madden is EA's #1 franchise -- if Madden and NCAA overlap too much, no one will buy Madden once they've been playing NCAA for a month.

Re: The worst thing about this game, and a solution
With EA it's like 2 steps forward and 1 step back. And if you think about it it's really helped there sales. For instance. If you make a game with a good amount of bells and whistles but keep it from being perfect you have a decent game that we all will buy because we love our football. Then next year you take what worked for the game out and put the thing(s) you were missing in, and thus everybody is hyped and not knowing your still getting a broke product. So like any good gamer you suggest too everyone you meet that this is going to be the best one yet and they go out and buy it. When you give it some time, and you start to see the flaws and tell EA that the next year needs to have all the stuff you had in the last game back in it. EA says oh, ok! Then proceed to apply our demands for the next year while stripping away what was working the year before again. So we the mass consumers pass on to our freinds how this is the year it all comes together, and well as always it won't because we all help add the hype they need for great sales. When every year they need hype to sale they couldn't actually make the game perfect then every year would be harder to get people excited. And sales would hit a plateau>:^(Last edited by CYST2000; 08-20-2009, 02:39 AM.GO COLTS
