Why's everyone so high on Middle Tennessee State?

Is there something I'm missing here?

It seems like in most of the threads there's someone talking about MTSU, whether it be wanting a custom cover or two of them, talking about their QB or stories of their rad plays with MTSU.

I just don't see why they're so popular. I've never played with them, but is there something I'm not seeing that others are?

I've done a DYN and a RTG with them... really I just like them because we make a trip to nashville/murphesburro (sp?) every once in a while, plus my aunt went to college there

I haven't seen many people talking about them, I guess I missed it?

I played with them in NCAA '08, and my offline dynasty with NCAA 10 is using them as well.

Dwigh Dasher their QB. Get to know him. May be the most valuable player to his team in all of the country. He does it all.

I used to play with them as a start up Dynasty. Liked the uniforms. The silver helmets, blue uniforms. They are form the south. The Sun Belt conference s a fun lttle conference to play with. Plus, they are a directional school. Gotta love the drectional schools. Not sure why teams have changed Like Ul Monro and Ul Layfeyette.

Sun Belt definitely has some interesting teams and players every year.

Because people are tired of the big schools in Tennessee being lackluster. The University is starting to be terrible, and I shouldn't have to mention the dismal Vanderbilt. As I recall, MTSU was the only school from the state to win a bowl game this past season. Plus, their uniforms are indeed classy. Dwight Dasher for the O'Brien 2010! They are a feel good story, and look for them to be as dominant as a Sun Belt team can be.

First tme I ever seen them was in 2002 against my beloved Crimson Tide. They pushed us until the end of the game. Freddie Roach returned a pick 6 to seal the deal. But it was way to close for comfort. I was really impressed with them. I was thinking that they were about tobe the new La Tech or Troy. They had Dwone Hicks and some really good looking recivers. Tall and athletic.

Freddie was always kind of a mystery to me. Looked like he was gonna be one of those special linebackers, a la Cornelius Bennett. But never really broke out after a very strong freshman campaign. I think he ended up as a DE before it was all said and done. Was a solid t player no doubt. But looked like he was going to be a stud that first year. Whatver happened to his brother Nick. We signed him as WR but he never made it to campus. Maybe he did redshirt. Didn't he go to Alabama A&M.

People like to play with them because they're a decent, small team with cool uniforms that can be built up to a powerhouse in a Dynasty.
