Ok, what I would like to see fixed is the recruit ratings and progression. It gets pretty bad after all the players are made up recruits (5th year in) and teams that are powerhouses are all Bs. I mean, I am not so opposed to spread out ratings but the thing is, when they are not consistent with the original roster ratings, it does get very annoying. My Teams:
Michigan State Spartans
Detroit Lions
Georgia Bulldogs
Miami Hurricanes

Re: NCAA Football 11 Patch #2 Update (EA Sports Blog)
I don't think EA needs to tweak progression too much. What they need to do from what I am seeing is the following:
1. Improve awareness increases in all positions. Freshman come in to low and don't improve enough
2. Improve juke and elusiveness ratings in new wide receiver recruits.
3. Improve Kickers kick power and kick accuracy. This should be high as freshman and increase marginally over 4 years. This is needed for gameplay as most teams only carry 1 of each kicker. .
4. Improve quality of 1* and 2* and 3* star players. Too much of a gap between crappy players and good players. I liked stretched ratings, but too much will kill gameplay on the field.
And anther thing, improvements to CPU recruiting is necessary. 10 qbs on one team is not going to cut it.Comment

The only thing I would add is to either decrease the amount of 1* players or have CPU teams not recruit those guys for the most part. Even the worst teams in the country generally don't sign those guys.Last edited by mgoblue678; 07-30-2010, 10:33 PM.My Teams

Agree with this completely. These are defiantly the issues more so than progression. I would be really disappointed if they ignored these things and instead messed with progression significantly.
The only thing I would add is to either decreases the amount of 1* players or have CPU teams not recruit those guys for the most part. Even the worst teams in the country generally don't sign those guys.
For this year I think they should adjust it to be like this for incoming Frosh:
1* 55-65 OVR
2* 60-70 OVR
3* 65-75 OVR
4* 70-80 OVR
5* 75-85 OVR
The progression should essentially stay as is, but 1% of every star category in every class should be breakout players, Players who get like a 8 point bump after their Frosh and Soph years regardless of their team prestige. This way the small schools can have an occasional unexpected star player like they do now.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Why are people thanking EA for selling you a broken game at release? This pathetic gesture is the reason why EA can keep doing this. Everyone gets understandably angry and the second a patch is released they act like EA is doing them a favor. Did you read that EA update? He was beating around the bush saying why the games are never fixed by release date, he didn't give any actual answers besides "it's hard to program games." I have friends that are testers that could've caught those bugs. With all that said my main point is EA put this game tuning feature in without even making it public (how often does that happen?) They sell you a broken game, then act like they have come to save the day with a feature that they didn't even feature!Comment

So in the "tens-of-thousands of hours of QA" they couldn't advance dynasty mode through 15 years and study the results? It should jump out right away that something is wrong when they see I-AA West blowing out Marshall. I think that would only take an hour to figure out.Comment
