For recruiting they need to allow us to set the parameters in which recruits are created.

You could set the average number of 5 stars/4 stars, etc. as well as the standard deviation. You could also set the average & standard deviation for the overalls of the players at each star ratings.

For full customization, they could allow editing of all this at each positions and even specific ratings at each position.

If they did all this, it could solve a lot of the problems people find with created recruits, and I'm sure there are people on this board would figure out the best settings.

Another thing, they need to put more sliders in the game. Instead of just having "run blocking" they need us to go into the sliders for OL and lower their run blocking. In other words, positions need attribute sliders. This would allow lowering of man coverage while increasing zone coverage ability of cornerbacks (an issue that plagued this year's game). Another change that would have been made for this year's game would definitely be lowering the play recognition of LBs and the DL.

While I'm not saying the developers should ignore issues in the game if they implemented this idea, but it would help fix issues that are sometimes hard to see with only a handful of people playing the game before it is released.

Re: Building a Better NCAA Football 12

EA needs to work on everything and tweak it. There are numerous things that need to be looked at.

1-The need to work on making player ratings matter and factor in player size. In my online dynasty I have a DT and DE that are rated 95 and 97 and they get blown up by lesser Olinemen all the time, yet I can go play another user and his 78 rated DE will just dominate my all conference tackle. Same with most other ratings. They need to make speed guys speedy, I hate how you can have a recruit run a 4.3 and get A+ speed but his acl. rating is a C. In real life if you that fast of a forty your acl. should be very high.

2-Fix the QB fumble glitch, most everyone knows what I'm talking about where you take off with your Qb and go to slide and instead he dives face first and somehow he fumbles 50% of the time.

3-Create-a-playbook. I would like to be able to get all the formations I want in a playbook and not 3-4 I will never use.

4-Some AI issues. The pass defense is bad on here sometimes. I quit playing zone all together cause you just get eaten alive. Man coverage is pretty solid but sometimes I will have a CB not even lineup on anyone. Also I wish they would put something in where if someone keeps running the TE across the middle all the time that maybe the Safety starts to jump that route and take it away. I think Play recognition is supposed to do that but I think that is ony determining if it's a pass or run.

5-PA pass and blocking out of the shotgun formations. When I don't have a very good line you should be able to run the spread and gain some rushing yards cause thats what the spread is made for , smaller quicker linemen. I think the most rushing yards I've gained out of the spread is around 70-80. The PA passing in this game is worthless, most of the time the tackles just stand there and let th DE go unblocked. I understand it needs to be set up but I can ram the ball down their throat all day and as soon as I try a PA pass they go unblocked and none of the DB's overcommit to the run.

6-In game features, commentary is terrible, add halftime shows and pregame shows again. Also maybe a weekly wrapup to talk about some of the big upsets or big games that went on.

7-Recruiting, I want to be able to pick what I talk about to the recruits. Also make promises carry alot of weight. In my online dynasty I usually finish around 8-4 to 10-2 and can't get over the hump so I promise alot to the big time recruits and they still never sign with me. If I promise a kid he will start that should be worth say 200-300 points, If I promise him a conference title or NC title make those worth around 500-600 poins. To go with those promises make the promise of no redshirt maybe only 70-80 points and winning record against rivals the same. If you don't keep the large promises make it a good chance that they transfer out, maybe a 50% chance he stays or go's, and if he goes you can't talk him out of it. Another thing is I don't know how many kids I've lost to other teams that didn't even offer that said player. If a kid really wants to go somewhere thats fine but a 4* guy that has offers from the top schools in the country and he still doesn't sign with any of them and never gets a scholly from his fav. but yet he still signs with lowly Houston or Fresno state. That never happens in real life.

8-Do away with the game planning crap, I think it's cheap and there isn't nearly enough risk to go along with the reward. Line jump the snap they eaily beat the oline but maybe only jump 1-2 times a game. Same with pass defense aggressive, they hardly ever get beat deep.

9-One last thing with fumbles, when I use the RB button to cover up the ball I should very rarely fumble. I've lost games because of this. I'm driving the ball and know I can't fumble or the game is over so when I'm about to get tackled I use the RB(cover the ball) yet I fumble and the defense wasn't even really trying to strip it.

This might have been said I'm not sure but I have always wanted at the end of the season some sort of all star game. Either the East-West Shrine game or the Senior bowl. I think either would be a really cool touch to end at the end of the season of a dynasty.

I wish that the defense(AI) would pick up on the opponent running the same plays over and over. If someone is using a cheese play(5 WR Verticals), the defense should start to recognize the formation/tendencies of the offense. By the 4th time the play is run, we should be looking at an automatic interception...deflections at the minimum.

This would be a way to have a checks and balances system for cheese plays...if that makes sense. There may be a glitch in the game that allows a WR to get open on a certain play, but this automatic correction would keep it from hurting you over and over...and over.

This has been the #1 thing EA has needed to implement since Xbox live was created. Instead, we got colored shoes and Mascot Matchup.

This is not a necesity but it would be cool if on special teams, they added the rugby style punts, regular style punts, swinging gate style punts and the ones where everyone starts in their lane spread across the field. I think this would be a nice addition to the game but definately not a necesity as mentioned earlier.

                What do you guys thinks?

Oh god no. Online play is already luck-based enough.

Keep all the bells and whistles....

I want better game play and a more realistic game.

I'd LOVE a more advanced playbook, one that rivals REAL football action. Madden had it wrong when they simplified the playcalling experience. Football is very much a game of chess and the plays should be indicitive of that.

Running game: If the team runs a zone blocking scheme, they should have plays named and organized accordingly. If the team runs a hole based running game, they should have plays in every formation to run into every hole.

I'd also love to see the fake off tackle to the HB keeper around the end put into the game.

Passing game: Why is it that with every playaction pass, there is immediate pressure? It unrealistic and annoying.

i know it was a while ago but does anyone remember ncaa football 98 the first year tiburon published ncaa football, it had everything that is being said on this forum plus some, the game play was next to perfect, the atmospher of college was there, they had coaches and players coming out of the locker rooms, it even had create-a-sign and create-a-fan. the only thing it didn't have and that i have wanted in a game forever is a way to change stadiums because after 30 or so seasons with ohio state the shoe still looks the same, heck ten years ago the stadium didnt even look the same, but going back to what i was saying is why can a game on cd 14 years ago have everything that we are complaining about today. whatever happens i'm still getting ncaa football 12 because i haven't missed getting the new one since bill walsh college football back in 94 or 95 or whenever that was.

The Senior Bowl would be good, but I wouldn't mind if that was in Madden like back in Madden 07 on the Old Gen. But I would love if they had the Army or Under Armour game for NCAA.

                              Dynasty
                              1. Spring Games- Let us hold spring practices and have recruits enroll early to
                              participate
                              2. Have a National Signing Day- You have rights to ESPN. why not use it.
                              3. Pick Game Times- During the pre-season, when you're picking your schedules,
why not be able to make it a 12:00, 3:30, or primetime game? you could be
limited to on 3 or so night games a year.
                              4. More networks- CBS, ABC, ESPN2, ESPNU. Also during pre-season when your
picking your schedules, you should be able to pick what game you want on
what network. Ex. Alabama vs LSU= 3:30 CBS.....Alabama vs Georgia
State= 12:00 ESPNU. Have Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson call SEC on
                              CBS games.
                              5. Have actual PRACTICE jerseys for practice instead of actual uniforms
                              6. Medical Redshirts

                              Equipment
                              1. I'm putting Dreads as equipment. DREADS, DREADS, DREADS...nuff said
                              2. More Revo Speeds. There are atleast 10 revo speed facemasks and only 2
                              were in NCAA 11.
                              3. Custom Sliders for socks, arm sleeves, arm bands, knee bands, etc. Instead
of having low, mid, and high socks, let us set how high or how low we
want them, same with the arm sleeves. Ex. Cam Newton's knee bands on
his socks. Most College Players socks are atleast halfway up on their leg.
                              4. Double Socks. Everyone is wearing double socks...EVERYONE. Give us an
option for double socks. Black on bottom, White on top, visa-versa.
                              5. Team Colored Socks/Cleats. This year Nike debuted the team colored vapor
                              carbon TD cleats.
                              6. Already have the 2011 Pro Combats as well as last years in the game.
                              7. Leg Sleeves.
                              8. FIX THE ANKLE TAPE!! the bulky tape is waaaay too bulky and it looks like
                              a cast.
                              9. Adidas Visors
                              10. Have QB style sleeves like Brett Farve and most NFL QB's wear.
                              11. Have an option to have the backplate showing.
                              12. Have some jersey come loose during the game

                              Road To Glory
                              1. Put Road To Glory on a separate disk
                              2. Play your whole senior season, get scholly offers in the mail. Move up in
ESPNU Top 150 Choose between The Under Armour or the US Army All
America Games. Narrow it down between 3 or 4 schools. Have a hat
ceremony and have it televised live by ESPNU. Have an option to enroll
early on campus to participate in spring practice
                              3. Redshirts/Medical Redshirts
                              4. Have the option to transfer
                              5. Be able to choose the uniforms for the game. I hate when I commit to
Oregon, but only can choose from 2 uniforms. Come on!
                              6. Senior Bowls
                              7. Don't Know if this could be included on Madden 12 but have the Combine
and either help or hurt your draft stock

well, thats all i can think about for now. This game has the potential to be the greatest video game ever made.
                              Go Dawgs!!
