    Cool interview.

Still waiting on seeing Virginia getting some love with the team-specific presentation, though.

the run at 2:39 looks weird for some reason... like he's just jogging around, not really sprinting. Also, not much leaning at all when cutting.

Changing camera angles for intros will be nice to break up the monotony of canned sequences, BUT... and I've said this before... WHY can't those intros be more organic? Why can't each of those guys running out on the field for Colorado be individual characters running out there so you can vary who runs out exactly where, how fast, whether a guy stumbles, jumps for joy, etc. Heck you could change the height/weight/face of guys in the intro every so often. This could make every single intro unique every time, including the teams running out on the field. They have the player models for them, just toss in some simple AI and let them feel real for each game and not canned.

Loved the video, thanks for posting. Can't wait for July 12th. I won't have a life anymore lol.

I can't wait to see some info on Virginia Tech, I wanna see how they improved their entrance!

They did this last year they will be different depending on who is starting. Deep into your dynasty all the players running out will be different. Unless i misunderstood what you were trying to say.

Yes players change obviously. I was referring to everything though. Including the guys running out with the mascots, cheerleaders etc. AND letting them do their thing dynamically. Have each person run out on the field and not always start in the exact same spot, running at the exact same pace. They might hoot or holler sometimes, or (as shown in in the video) trip, or pump their fists etc. You wouldn't see people run out on a field the exact same way every time. Do away with canned sequences and program dynamic ones where each person has various things they could do each time.

I think they don't want to spend the time on it. It would be a very time consuming task to create AI and all that for all of the entrances in the game. Right now its basically a video and I imagine much easier to do than what you're saying.

broadcast camera? presentation is further improved but still incomplete without it. i want highlights from a broadcast cam like i see on espn. and i really hope the lighting is noticeably improved in every type of weather setting. i believe i read that progressive is in, really hope it is.

Secondly, I hope the pregame intros change a little bit each time. I don't want to see the guy almost fall on his face every single time I have a home game as Colorado. I don't want to see the tiger roar and a player stop in the same way every single time at LSU.
Thats exactly what will happen. No real time commentary, or anything unique to that game on that day as to presentation. I dont think they know how to do it. Not being negative, just realistic.

As someone who programs for a living I can tell you it would not be a big deal at all. The assets are all there, even a lot of the animations. It might require a few extra motion captures (a fist pump, a run-skip, whatever) but the programming is trivial. Each person running out would follow a pattern based on a set of random determinations (specific to different a few entrance types) and there would be some real time adjusting as they run out (spacing what have you). It would be a fairly simple thing that would take presentation to a whole new realistic level. Combine that with some real context sensitive commentary and the game becomes wholly more organic and immersive.

im pretty happy with the direction they are taking. It would be nice to have different camera angles and what not for pre game but it won't bother me to much if they don't as long as they have fixed in game and between play presentation.
