Re: What Questions Do You Want Us to Ask in the Developer's Chat?

I'll pose my question's with what it effects in gameplay and why we need it.

    Player Ratings Editor:
    Global editor
-We've found that adjusting certain ratings higher/lower across the board brings out more Animations and makes the gameplay run more fluid.

-Having the ability to edit ratings up/down on a team/position is easier vs doing 1,000's of individual players. (similiar to NBA Live 10)

    Recruit editor
-The in-game generates Fr/Juco players with very odd/unrealistic ratings which effect gameplay.
-Allows for more Hybrid players to be created as current game does not do a good job at doing.

The above also prevents Dev's from adjusting Progression/Rosters just to address such broad perspectives by gamers.

Since it's just a matter of Unlocking this ability to allow, what are the Con's that such ability is not given to gamers?

I don't think those questions are going to be answered yet. Not until Dynasty info is released. This is one of my top priorities as well.

I have a question to ask them:

I know they added a few more situations for custom stadium sounds this year, so will I be able to have one for each down on offense like LSU does?
For example, we have a 1st down cheer, 2nd down cheer, and a 3rd down cheer....

Since this issue has a greater effect/impact on Gameplay, I would hope someone would ask.

The Recruit Editor does deal with Dynasty, but it is more about the impact of the in-game generated player ratings and their effect of Gameplay by year 4.

Maybe they can pose the question as...

Can Gamers be allowed to adjust/tweak Gameplay to their "Perspective", by having the ability to adjust ratings on a Global scale?

I also wouldn't mind if someone could ask if the PS3 version will run as smoothly as the 360 version

Another major impact on Gameplay would be the injection of the Gameplan used in Madden.

This injection would greately fit the college game while giving the ability to really add different personalities for each team.

Right now, there is really no difference in team identity as the CPU uses them.
Yes there are different playbooks and schemes, but the game AI does not utilize those schemes to beat it's opponent.

The AI just calls random plays.

If this in, Gamers could adjust teams playcalling to utilize that All-American on their team.

So the question is will we have Maddens Gameplan in **this years NCAA?

If not, what is in this years release that gives teams different identities as they use these different schemes/playbook's?

              (1) Will weight play a role in STR/POW-type interactions? I.e., I don't want to see a CB stone a pulling OG or FB on power runs. This is waay important to me since it'd keep people from cheesing using Dime and Quarters as run prevent defenses.

              (2) Will zone blocking O-Linemen get off their double teams and onto the second level with realistic and useful timing?

              (3) Tell me playaction has been fixed. Please. Do it.

I'd appreciate it, they usually try to limit it to 1-2 per person so I'll push the ones I can but it would be nice to have others on there as well. I just want people to ask GOOD questions not stuff that they know they wont answer or that has already been asked which is what 90% of the questions are in these things

If teambuilder is a part of presentation and gameplay lol:
1.Will there be real jersey types? (pro combat, addidas tank tops)
2.How many logo slots will be available?
3.Will there be team colors for equipment? (secondary also)
4.Will the team wear bowl patches?
5.How many slots will there be for the helmets, jerseys, and pants?

This last one is weird but....
Can we get some kind of colored socks? (pro-style)

Re: What Questions Do You Want Us to Ask in the Developer's Chat?

Thanks to whoever submits these, it would be greatly appreciated!

                          Offense:

                          1. Will Running Backs continue to run into their Offensive Linemen? If so, how is the RB's momentum effected, if at all?

                          2. Fade passes have become a large part of College Football, especially in Goal line situations. In previous versions, the Wide Receiver would react to a Fade Route no differently than a Streak Route (rather than using their vertical to get to the ball, they would often sprint, stop, and turnaround. Will this be addressed in NCAA 12?

                          3. Offensive lineman have had a tendency to Pancake the opposing lineman simultaneously. Not only is this unrealistic, as pancakes are rare, but it looks bad and cuts off any hope of getting pressure on the QB. Has this been addressed in NCAA 12?

                          4. Most incomplete passes are due to a miss-thrown ball, rather than the CB making a play. In previous NCAA's, you almost never see the ball thrown without it touching another player at some point (offense or defense). What is the reason for this? Will the problem be addressed?

                          5. Running Backs will sometimes stay back with the QB for an extra blocker. This is very popular in certain kinds of Offenses around the NCAA. In previous versions of NCAA, the RB will often miss his block all together, and when he picks it up, the RB seems to be an All-American Offensive Lineman. Why is this?

                          6. I've played NCAA for 10 years, and not once can I remember an Offensive Line that was better than the other. It flat-out does not seem like ratings matter on the Offensive Line. Will we be able to tell the difference between the #1 rated offensive line, and the #55 offensive line?

                          Defense:

                          1. Why is it that Cornerbacks are just as fast sidestepping and backpedaling as they are running full speed ahead?

                          2. The Cornerbacks don't look for the ball, and often will turn around at the last second (without ever seeing the ball) and pick it off or bat it down. Can we expect this to ever be fixed?

                          3. The battle in the trenches looks the same as it did in NCAA 07. Why haven't any improvements been made in this regard? Can we expect new animations in NCAA 12?

                          4. Linebackers seem to be either super aware, or super unaware. There has to be a middle ground, and so far I haven't seen it in NCAA. Will we see it in 12?

                          5. Consecutive-hit tackling is great, and I'm super stoked it made it into NCAA 12. But why do we continue to see players avoid making that extra hit on a Running Back whose legs are still kicking?

                          6. NCAA has always given us this weird bat down animation like they are trying to swat away a fly. Why aren't there more bat down animations, or will we be seeing some in NCAA 12?

                          Special Teams

                          1. Kicks have always been a piece of cake in both Madden, and NCAA. Is it possible we could see a Real Kicking % option sometime in the future?

                          2. Special Teams specialists are becoming more and more popular around the NCAA. Why is it that as long as my kick returner has good speed, it makes him better than the rest of my options?

                          3. Blocking kicks is something that is sorely missing in the NCAA series, but it happens almost 3 or 4 times a year for each given team in a season. Whether this is during an extra point, or last second field goal, Special Teams is a huge part of College Football. Why is it that the blocking is so strong on these Special Teams plays, and is it possible we see some kind of fix this year?

                          General Questions:

                          1. How big of a role do Coaches play in this years game?

                          2. Will we be getting Stat Overlays, similar to Madden?

                          3. Commentary has gotten stale, and sounds just like it did 5 years ago. Why hasn't there been an effort to change this?

                          4. Will the crowd finally come alive at the right times? Will rivalry games be louder than cup-cake games? Will the crowd be louder at night then during the day? Will the crowd be louder in a close game, than in a blow out?
