I know this isn't happening to nearly everyone, but there is a sizeable amount of complaints. Unfortunately, it happens to me with a vengeance. I just had to restart my game for the 3rd time in a row!! Have yet to complete week one of my dynasty. This is unacceptable. 60 bucks and I can't even finish a game. This better be addressed ASAP

I know i have had three of the best games ever and i got all the way to the end and i go for an interception and freeze central. and several other times it froze, The Xbox system is fine its the game. Might have to do with all the downloads or custom stuff who knows. But i sure it can be fixed . The complaints are growing

The freezing in this game is ridiculous. I probably freeze probably every other two games. I only play Dynasty mode and I froze while recruiting, in game, and creating prospects. While in the game the music just turns off and it freezes. I never had a game freeze this much ever.

I haven't read through this whole thread, but are the freezes happening on mostly older generation XBOXs? I've got a slim and it's not having any issues. I'm wondering if it is the XBOX itself or if the game is the issue. I had issues with the last Madden freezing a lot, but upgraded systems and haven't had a freeze since.

No my elite freezes too ?
i also have an older model thinking it was the new xbox? nope this is the only problem game ?

I have had two freezes thus far. One during the highlights at the end of a offline dynasty game and the second in the recruiting screen.

I was playing at a friend's house and it froze three times in about 2 hours of playing... >_>

Never installed the game onto my HDD until today, and now I have encountered 3 fourth quarter freezes all today One was after my game winning Fade to Justin Blackmon vs. Wisconsin
I was leading going into the 4th 21-17 and went ahead to make it 28-17, Wisconsin then scored 15 unanswered making it 32-28 with 1:03 remaining. Returning the kick to the 27 I had to drive 73 yards in 56 seconds. With 6 seconds left I threw the fade and time expired, Game froze on post play celebration ...No!

I have over 10 GB of memory available on my HDD so it can't be insufficient space.

I have had 3 freezes, but luckily all occurred in the recruting screens. I did change the "black level" and have not had one since. I am not sure if that fixed it or I have been lucky so far.

I have a 120 GB hd version, not slim, and installed the game on the hd.

Did any of you guys download Carsons rosters? cause I did yesterday and thats when all my problems occurred so I deleted that file from my xbox and it works fine now

Hmm.. well we need to determine a common denominator. It's not the gen of the xbox. And some people have found fixes through deleting roster, clearing their cache or erasing it from their hard drives. So we need to narrow it down. If you're having a freezing problem, update with this specific info.

Where it freezes
What gen xbox you have
Installed/not installed on hard drive
What roster set you're using
Are you using team builder teams
How many team builder slots are in use
Have you cleared your cache
Are you getting freezes without the patch

It'll help for us to find a common denominator and get that info into the hands of the devs.

Edit: another thing to try may be turn off all EA stuff. Background radio, sports tickers, post game emails, etc. With as much difficulty EA is having with their servers, it could be a factor in the freezing.

Where it freezes - post game twice - at pics, 3rd quarter (near end)

What gen xbox you have - last gen 250gb, black HDMI (one of the last last-gen before the slim line came out)

Installed/not installed on hard drive - installed

What roster set you're using - sportgamer360 & fairdalekingswcoaches (froze post game twice with FK's rosters and mid-game once with sportgamer rosters)

Are you using team builder teams - no

How many team builder slots are in use - none

Have you cleared your cache - no

Are you getting freezes without the patch - haven't tried

At first my game worked perfectly,I have the new 250GB slim xbox(still have 220GB left) then 6 times in a row the game froze at the load screen.
So I returned it got a new one, now it's when I try to get into game modes.
I will try to download the game on my hardrive and delete caches though.

Edit: Tried deleting Carson's rosters, deleted a few other saved items, still freezing.
This is absolutely ridiculous.

This should be on the front page. For those who are having issues, update your info following the guidelines above. We've got to narrow it down so the devs can address this asap.

Can you add memory to an Xbox 360M I've noticed that the only have 512mb of ram. Would upgrading it stop the freezing? Just wondering.

Just to help out anyone maybe, I had this same problem with FK's rosters. I deleted them and ALSO turned off ESPN radio. Don't know if either was an issue but no freezes since. It still hangs for a moment every few games but no freezes.
