Sucks when you're recruiting against teams like OSU, Alabama, etc. Can't really compare effectively to those schools

No, the pink diamond was introduced when EA included the dynasty accelerators. Anyone who has ever used the Recruit Adviser feature knows about this. I guess you can have the accelerators turned on without having to purchase them this year. I don't think I have ever seen anything other than a 4-star recruit have that pink diamond.

As for stealing soft commits, I might steal one or two a year. Early in my dynasties, I don't really try to compete for recruits. I go after 15 to 20 guys that I am pretty confident I will be able to land. After about five or six weeks, I start looking at 4-star recruits that aren't getting any attention and add them to my board and devote an hour to them every week. By now, I usually have several guys I can just quick call for 20 minutes.

Every time I have stolen a soft commit, it happened to be when the recruit was visiting my campus and they committed to my school after the game. If I'm way behind a school, I won't bother unless I have the time to devote to the recruit.

On where the 40 times are...you need to go into the "all prospects" or "SPARQ" list of players to see their 40 times, bench, and squat. The recruiting board doesn't show their stats.

On the soft commit question...I have had players de-soft commit and sign elsewhere but have taken away more players that soft committed elsewhere. Usually, I can overtake a school easier in the off-season recruiting with a school visit.

            Re: Soft Commit Question

I just stole a few 5* and 4* recruits last night that although I was 2nd or 3rd on there list, I was 100-300 points behind and they'd all became soft commits to there #1 school that prior week. I brought em all on a visit in which I played Miss. St. (#6) and I won 45-10 (UGA #14)..two of those recruits being Dorial Green-Beckham (OU) and Jordan Jenkins (da U)

Jenkins committed, others are soft commits to me, gotta seal the deal. (DGB visiting OU this week)

sooo said that to say, almost anythings possible with the recruiting...I want to be able to go after hard commits until NSD tho, alot of kids switch on NSD.
