Re: NCAA Football 12 Title Update #2 - Waiting on Approval From Microsoft and Sony
I'm completely calm. But still, I've defended EA on many issues. I know they don't have a ton of budget on these games, and that a lot of bugs can slip by a development team, that's life.
But some of the issues with this patch, that just shouldn't be possible on the second patch coming out months after a game. Stuff like the broken no-huddle or broken custom playbooks, that's not stuff that "slips by", those are bugs that should get noticed within minutes from starting up the game. There's no excuse for stuff like this to be in a patch that took that long to get out.You gotta have Hope! (My Minnesota Vikings franchise)

I think it's a joke.
I've never seen people get so bent out of shape over a video game as I do on this forum. This game (and others over the years) seem to be all some of you live for. It's a video game. Any version of any sports game on the market RIGHT NOW is better than versions of the same game five years ago. In NCAA '09, I was routinely rushing for 400+ yards a game on any difficultly level. Spin move, and BAM! 70 yard rush! Of course, this was somewhat rare, but only because I returned every kick/punt 50 yards.
NCAA '11 was absurdly easy to pass, making the run a stupid play call only because big yardages weren't guaranteed.
And what's still broken in '12? As far as I can tell, it's "just" the no huddle... correct? I don't even use it that much - if ever - against the CPU. Can't even remember the last time I did, and I always kinda remember it being a bit screwy. Once someone uploads the rosters again, the tendency issue should be fix.
Now, I don't play online dynasties, and I can understand the frustrations of those that do, but for the vast majority of gamers who DON'T play online dynasty, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot wrong with the game after patch 2.Comment

Custom Playbooks are much more broken than they were before the patch, and yes, that's inexcusable in my opinion. It took me 30 second after opening the CPB editor to notice something was most certainly not right here, so I gotta ask myself how something like that can happen in a patch that they worked that long on.You gotta have Hope!
