Sounds good and everything but I swear... if this ends up being in adding 10 more team specific entrances and whatnot, i'm not going to be happy :/ haha.

Hesitantly optimistic.

Re: NCAA Football 13 Features New Passing System, Enhanced Commentary and More
I really think they just need to give up on Road to Glory. The mode is executed very poorly and it's just a waste of resources.
I am VERY intrigued by the new passing system and I can't wait until I see it in action.
I really hope they revamped recruiting cause it is just VERY boring, stale, and not very realistic at all. It's just a chore really.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Features New Passing System, Enhanced Commentary and More
adding new entrances every year is crap. instead, they could use this memory for improving the gameplay, graphics and presentation.
we watch the entrance for about 15-20 seconds and then, after few games, we just skip it.
most of the time we spend on playing the actual game- and that includes the gameplay, the presentation and of course, the visuals.Last edited by chen_sc; 03-13-2012, 10:08 AM.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Features New Passing System, Enhanced Commentary and More
I've done a little thinking and reflecting on the "new recruiting features." Here's the thing; recruiting is already quite time consuming. Don't get me wrong, it's my favorite part of the game, but it takes a while. In years past, everything was scouted for us (if you just went to look at the letter grades). I can honestly say I didn't do that a lot. I'd just recruit by stars because that was a pretty good gauge. Is it going to take more time now that we have to scout in addition to recruiting? Or is the recruiting system going to be revamped a la something from NCAA 2000 (PS1 days)? Very interesting to say the least. I'm hoping for the latter because my time to play this game is limited the older I get.Comment

Couldn't agree more. As soon as I saw the advertising about new team run outs and and a new passing mode, I knew right there that it's just going to be another classic EA delete-that-add-this-new-cutscenes garbage game. The moment that EA just comes right out and says "you know what, screw all the fluffy new stuff, we're FIXING the bugs that have plagued this game from the beginning!" is the day that I start supporting them. Otherwise, leave the "it will grow on you" stuff to the fanboys who, the first week, talk about god-like a new EA game is, and by the third week they are nowhere to be found on the forums (because they got frustrated with all the bugs and stopped playing).Comment

You couldn't possibly understand how I feel about EA's garbage (after getting burned by them so many times), especially after reading the rest of what you say (no disrespect intended, I just completely and utterly disagree with you).
"But don't jump the gun so quickly bro."
I'm pretty sure no one here is your brother, and even if we were when it comes to games I take where I spend my money pretty seriously. I don't think there is any jumping the gun in saying that what EA is advertising now is what they will be putting on the shelves. They are SO SLOW at adding new (and working) features to their games that they are the LAST publisher that I would imagine is tweaking its product even a week before the sale.
"I know this EA and all. But you never know what will happen."
LOL!!!! We ALL know what will happen when it comes to EA products. Even EA, with all the criticism they get for the way they do business, hasn't changed the way it does things in decades. They really and truly only care about one thing: mindless fools who arrive in waves to buy their $60 roster updates. EA could not care less about the serious folks out there because we're such a minority.
"Wait until the info and videos come out and then decide."
What will be your suggestion when all of those things come out? To wait until the game has been out for a month? EA is so predictable that anyone can look at the information they've already put out, read between the lines, and come to the conclusion that it's just another $60 buy.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Features New Passing System, Enhanced Commentary and More
Can we get actually penalties that work like offensive and defensive pass interference please. Also, why do they want too always give us these intros of the teams that after a few games most people skip over? Can we get a dynamic halftime show or something. Man what do these developers be thinking after almost 8 years on this current consoles.Comment

For methe game needed a BIG TIME overhaul to be where they should be at this point. (physics, player interactions, ball physics and terjectory, better line play, recievers and dbs actually looking for the ball) Non of which I'm getting from this new info. Won't buy another EA Sports game till next gen consoles. And even then who knows.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Features New Passing System, Enhanced Commentary and More
I'll admit these features sound nice, but there has to be more announced or seen from the community before I buy. Passing game (announced), physics, CPU Def AI, CPU clock management (or accelerated clock), penalties, sliders that work, recruiting, presentation (announced). FIX THE BUGS AND GAMEPLAY FIRST, then I'll think about it. I WANT MY GAME BACK!!
I don't care how much money EA has spent making the game, it's not my job to keep them in business, that's their job. My only concern is to get a good/full game experience for the $60 price tag. If they put out a good product I'll buy... but the last few years have been a joke.Last edited by gogators; 03-13-2012, 10:07 AM.GATOR BAITComment
