I just pre-ordered for the first time through Amazon. Supposed to deliver on July 10th. We'll see. I missed out on the uniforms last year, it's not a huge deal to me because I could care less about the other pre-order offers, so I just went with the best offer. I'm more concerned about getting the game on time.

Sounds like a brag lol... But what's EA season ticket?

And there has never been a line at the Wal-Mart I go lol. Small town and almost every year I'm by myself getting the game

Page is a little outdated at this point, but:

Yes I wanted to ask about this. It says on EA; release date 10th; early release 7th/Season Ticket. What does this mean? And is there a way to join this or somehow get the early release? Thanks.

Yes. The Friday before the retail release it will appear in downloadable form on the store/marketplace, and it's the full game. It's playable up until the game releases for retail - it expires sometime that early Tuesday morning, at which point you'd have to buy it at retail to keep playing. It's not a cheaper way of getting the game - personally I think of it as a rental of sorts.

It's actually been quite useful to me over the year, as I was able to make a decision to pass on two games I originally had interest in (NHL and FIFA), and got interested in one I wouldn't have considered - Tiger Woods. NCAA is the last one I'll get on the yearly subscription, and I'll have to choose to renew it.

Hard to brag when EVERYONE can do the same thing. EA Season Ticket allows you to download the EA Sports games for a 3 day trial before they hit stores.

It would be a waste of money to join now imo. ST allows you to try out 6 games before release for 25 bucks. The problem is NCAA13 is the last game under the yearly subscription because it will start again when Madden is released.

Hmm...I just assumed that it would be a flat year from when you joined. To where if you purchased now, you'd get every release up through next year's Tiger Woods. Is it not like that?

Go here and you can see what they're offering for your used games (they also do books, DVDs, and Blu Ray). You have to mail all of your items to Amazon, however, it's free to ship using UPS - you just print out the label and slap it on your box and drop it off at a UPS location (if you have one in your area). I've done this several times and have been satisfied with them. It usually takes a week from the time you mail to the time they credit your account.

If you're not happy with what they're offiering for your items, check back periodically - the trade in prices fluctuate often. I had a wii fit that I wanted to trade in - when I first looked, they were only offering $40, but I waited long enough and was able to get $80 out of it.
