That's essentially what I said. Going by Amazon's, "within two days of shipment" thing, it leads one to believe that they would send them out today. Not quite sure why you put the "not the end of the world," comment. I know it isn't and to think such is extremely foolish. It just looked like you aimed it at me. If you didn't, apologies. If you did, oh well, no big deal. I posted it mainly because people keep on about them not having the code yet.

With me it doesn't matter when my game gets to my house or when I get the code because I won't be able to play until sometime next week. Rosters will be out, first patch will probably be out, OS will have somewhat cooled down, and I'm sure umpteen other different things will all happen in that time. It's like I'm waiting a week to pick up the game but still get a preorder price and bonus.

I'm going to order the game for $45 from amazon and just use the free 5-10 day shipping, and then go to gamestop today and get it for $60 and just return the amazon copy

this will work right?

I believe Gamestop won't give you more than $35 for it. They may have a return policy that would allow that to work, however.

WOW!! I just got off the phone with ups...they say no package has been shipped...and delivery date as july 11th...why would amazon email me stating expecting delvery date july 10th...this sucks i ordered with release day shippig for .99...and somehow woman at amazon tells me it got switched to 2day shipping....screw amazon..

~1:32 PM CT UPS dropped off a package...it was NCAA Football 13. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! SO EXCITED!!!!

the reason I'm asking is Amazon puts that 'not for resale' thing over the barcode so I wanted to make sure Gamestop would take it

amazon doesnt put anything on the barcode.
any retailer will accept an unopened return with receipt. So yea you can return the amazon unopened copy back to gamestop/bestbuy/walmart/etc for a refund later.

Mine didn't show. (So much for release day shipping)

Buuuuut, gave the local Blockbuster a call, (Yes my town still has one surprisingly lol) and they told me they had 1 left to rent for PS3.

So now instead of buying at Wal-Mart then returning the unopened amazon copy, I'll just rent instead. Blockbuster is about 10 minutes closer so it's all good.

If my copy is not here tomorrow though, Amazon is definitely getting a piece of my mind.

yes, that's what i did last year......just make sure you don't open the amazon copy of course because if you do you will then only get trade-in value of like $30 out of it instead of the full $63
