A couple of things made me shake my head:

    1) Tv commentators aren't supposed to talk during an intro theme song, just afterwards. Here it happens the opposite

    2) Normally you don't go to a studio update before the first play of a game. Besides, when the audio flows to Nessler, he restarts by saying "No score on this one", which is banal.

On I side note I hope they have corrected the bug of last year's rain at the ESPN intro.

      Yeah....I am diggin this.

I can't wait for this game! Dynasty is going to be a blast. I really like the studio updates with Rece. Makes it feel like a Saturday with all of the action unfolding around the nation.

The "Live look in" would have more of an immersion effect if they were actually looking in live from say.. the College Gameday set! For all we know Rece Davis is at the game we're playing, giving updates.. I don't like starting out at the stadium in the middle of a live look in, and then staying there for the game. It's an awkward transition from nothing? But I do like the direction this game is going, finally. Seeing Rece and the gang sitting at the College Gameday desk making big game picks, and then going into a live look in of the upcoming game (that we're playing) would be a smooth transition; unless of course the game isn't brooadcasted. Then we get nothing, or a local no name.

A number nine team lost. "The unthinkable has happened." I laughed a little. Still some nice additions though. It's a start.

so much wrong with this intro and stadium...oh well whatever

As others have noted, crowd sounds dead, they should have erupted when Woods had the chance to take it to the house. Also when the team runs onto the field and the drum major stabs the field.

Meh, pretty unimpressed. I see they're trying but the direction is off. It's a mash up of what EA wants to do, and an actual broadcast. Just doesn't work for me.

Am I the only one who is annoyed that they are again taking a "realistic broadcast approach" yet are using unrealistic camera angles and camera movements?

I want to feel like I'm watching a real college game, not getting some 360 follow view of my running back's helmet as he scores a TD

Did not sell me. I'm gonna need OL/DL interactions and online play to be vastly upgraded before I invest time and money in this stupid game. In other words, mark me down for another fan NOT buying the game. EA can suck it this year.

They could at least add some elements from a real broadcast. Like the one below.

                              http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fl84sX7RNTc
i agree they are awkward. Too quiet and too long considering there's only about 8 players actually running out. We don't need shots of the crowd in between them walking out because it drags it on even longer. Something about them just doesnt seem natural.

Same with Rece, his audio sounds completely patched together. He talks about #15 Georgia Tech being upset and it sounds like thats the end of him talking about that game and then he says, And Maryland wins their 2nd in a row, etc. as if he's talking about a different game but it's the same game. The problem is it's a separate line of dialogue so instead of soundling like he's transitioning from Georgia Tech being upset to adding in that it's Maryland's 2nd straight win, it sounds like 2 different things. Just doesn't flow well.

I have a feeling its another one of those good ideas that's horribly executed by EA.

Clemson Tigers beat.. The Auburn Tigers 24 to.. 17" Obviously that's not exactly what he said. But you get my point, I think.

The team intro is dreadfully boring and so uninteresting, now that we've seen what they are and have been practically unchanged(custom music being played is the only change/addition since '11). There needs to be more sound during it. Perhaps some FMV or something that we would normally see on a jumbotron to be pieced together with the intro. More player chatter and chanting in the locker room. Something, to bring the dead air to life. As is, it's not worth watching, to me.

The very small snippet of gameplay we saw was a kickoff and return, and we see near perfect blocking, that awful run animation, same zig-zagging and lack of proper locomotion. Why is he carrying the ball like that?

                                Highly unimpressive.
i agree, the intros are pointless because of the dead air that makes them boring to watch. It's not hard to add the pregame commentary and setup to start halfway through the team intro, and then show them warming up AFTER they've entered the field instead of before they enter the field.

On the old systems you used to get commentary while the teams entered, you use to see the away team at least run on the field (while being booed) and then they would do the pregame talk while showing the guys warming up... not vice versa.

As someone else said, this looks like NCAA 12 v2.0
