I agree to an extent. Theirs is still much better than anything that EA does commentary wise (so far * crosses fingers), but NBA 2K's still isn't as good as MLB 2K's. At least with MLB, you don't hear the same anecdotes every. single. game.

OMG Nessler and Herbstreit bore the crap outta me........The tech they use for the commentary just doesn't sound "Free Flowing" at all....everything sounds patched together. There isn't a sense that the guys in the booth are even in the same room together. Any strides that are made presentation wise may be destroyed in we get the same quality of commentary with a few extra "new lines" thrown in.

Crowd/atmosphere is still boring, but custom music sure helps with that

Some stuff in NBA 2k12 can get repetitive the commentary doesn't sound robotic. It is 100 times better than NCAA or Madden. It flows much like a real broadcast. There is a bit of banter between the guys in the booth, and they go into detail about how a team did last year, or has been doing the past few years, or something to make it sound authentic, though they say the same ones, at least you can tell the audio team made an effort. The commentary in NCAA makes me want to stab myself in the side of the head with a screwdriver after a couple games.

I just can't see why they can't have both guys in the sound booth AT THE SAME TIME, and just call a game or portions of games.

A couple of things made me shake my head:

1) Tv commentators aren't supposed to talk during an intro theme song, just afterwards. Here it happens the opposite

2) Normally you don't go to a studio update before the first play of a game. Besides, when the audio flows to Nessler, he restarts by saying "No score on this one", which is banal.

On I side note I hope they have corrected the bug of last year's rain at the ESPN intro.

I agree on the first but not the second. If you watch a game on Saturday you will have Mark May, Rece Davis and Lou Holtz doing game recaps and previews for the game that's coming up. Then they turn it over to whoever else

one of the things that bother me is that when the players are running out it is only offensive players like WR and QB. and it seems like they havent changed much on the runouts. same animations as last year

Seriously do away with the players running out of the tunnel same as last year. They all run the same, every players legs look the same running looks very unnatural they look like stupid cyborgs get in the game EA. IF ya cant get it to look right don't do it half ***. And another thing whats up with the clumsy tackle animation??? I watch football like its a religion and never see a tackle end that way does not look right at all once again. And geez why can't the field ever look right looks amazing in the show and fifa is the graphic field dude color blind or what?

Will it be like Madden's commentary system where they are aware if standings and all that?
