today i will read all the websites to see their take on this, no one will call EA out on adding another fluff mode at the expense of core gameplay. this game will probably get a 8.5+ score in the reviews

but guys will still get their trips to orlando and early games so it's all good

You think if I was deciding what was in the game every year this would be a mode I would choose? Wrong. I've said as much in Orlando. You people crack me up assuming that 1) We get to choose features 2) We automatically are pleased with decisions

I'll likely never play this mode, I don't play offline dynasty. I play 15+ years in an online dynasty with the same group of guys every year.

I am going to go against the grain here and say I think this Heisman mode looks like it could be quite fun and I think I may enjoy it. I think it's funny all the criticism EA is taking over this when so many people really LOVED 2K Sports addition of superstar mode with Michael Jordan and all those classic players, which is probably where EA got this idea from btw.

As for me, I know I played NBA2K a LOT more because of that superstar mode where you had goals set for players and had to meet them to unlock achievements and although I'm not sure this mode will be that addictive it certainly looks like it has the potential to be.

pre-order bonus, either choose new jerseys or heisman players, you can't have both
they can probably sell other Heisman players as DLC

i don't know who to blame, it seems like the guys making the game want to make something good, they can't possibly see all the deficiencies in the game and believe that Heisman mode is a good addition

THIS is how I feel every single year about now...lather, rinse, repeat and yet because there is no other football game options for NCAA or NFL, I buy anyway...

I am almost 100% sure I am going to feel this way again on June 4th when the Madden super-secret reveals that the big feature is going to be bullet time passing or something equally worthless...

Oh well, no one to blame for my own stupidity. By now, its common knowledge that Ben H and company are craven lunatics who love patting themselves on the back for their "creativity" while leaving a laundry list of "legacy issues" unaddressed year after year.

2k made it where you were playing in the era that the legend was playing in. This is just a created player being imported to your team. Which you can already do.

Nothing about this mode makes me feel like I'm playing with a player from the 80s.

You can't really play as him. Just a created player with his name. None of those guys were wearing the correct facemask. Or correct equipment for their time period. If your going to make mode abt legends. At least get their gear right.

You're comparing apples to oranges. NBA2K's superstar mode is a lot more enjoyable than NCAA's RTG so naturally superstar mode with classic players would be better received than what equates to RTG with classic players and bullet time.

EA football player ratings are so unrealistic and literally overrated that they had to give Heisman greats skill ratings of over 100. I can not be the only one that realizes the obvious problem that points out with how payer ratings are currently scaled in the game.

This is kinda what i suspected having every single one of them rated 100 overall.

Obviously EA wasn't in the mood for researching but i'm guessing they'll give Archie Griffin and Eddie George both 90+ speed which is INSANE.

This is exactly why i'm glad they don't do classic teams anymore.

I mean what's the point of doing it when all teams will be rated equal because your too lazy to research and provide realistic player ratings spread out amongst the players.

The best part of this video was seeing that they atleast got Desmond Howard's gear correct.....I'm hoping they include old school gear back in the game so i can use it on my own old school rosters.
