I don't know if I am playing a different game than some of you on this site.

There are at least 10 new catch animations and more gameplay animations I have seen in just two games.

CPU was able to run the read option fairly well (Oregon) against me in my first game.

Passing feels a lot better. CPU punted on the 36...and pinned me! Bama field position game.

Very happy...so far. Wish there were multiple difficulty options though.

maybe you just suck at the game?

Guys a quickie for y'all who played the demo:

How does the whole WR awareness feature (when a wide receiver is "clear" to receive your pass, apparently an icon flashes?) work?

Does the button icon show up? How exactly is this new feature implemented?

just finished my first game as LSU against Bama, won 17-3. few things that impressed me were:

1. THE FADE BALL ACTUALLY WORKED!!!

2. loved how the pump fake can be used as a weapon now. faked one underneath to the slot back and went over the top to the TE for a 45 yard gain, both safeties bit on the play fake.

3. The crowd was great. on the play to the TE mentioned the place went nuts when he caught it and started running towards the end zone. also was awesome to here the crowd react to 4 straight negative plays by Bama after having 1st and Goal from the 2.

Things i wasn't impressed with was how easy it was to throw the ball, i completed roughly 85% of my passes, and picking apart the defences with spread teams could result in a lot of 50+ point games. overall though i was impressed with how it played, and liked the feel of it better compared to last year

scoring 50+ pts a game isnt that fake. Oregon nearly does it in real life. Plus, makes it more fun.

It feels like NCAA 12 with a huge patch. Not bad IMO. Throwing the ball feels much better and I haven't seen Superman show up yet. Threw a couple of precision streak routes (trying to lead the WR outside) while the button wasn't lit and he didn't react until he turned and saw the ball. The passes were incomplete. Great job there. Would like to see more DB/WR interaction though.

Try using the Bing search engine and typing in NCAA Football 13. Or go to the Downloads area and searching for it. If you've already done that, I apologize.

I was actually throwing on some passing routes I would have never thrown to in NCAA 11 and 12. The new passing makes a HUGE difference.

This alone will make a world of difference for me. I loved the 2K passing and I hope it's fairly similar with all the new pass trajectories. 6% Complete

it makes it more fun in some instances, but if i wanted to i could have hit 30+ in a 3 minute demo, which should never happen, especially with LSU. hopefully that gets tuned up a bit

I'm gonna guess this is their surprise announcement today.

It's a HUGE surprise to me. Usually they don't release the demo until 2 weeks till release day at most, iirc. Maybe they knew they'd have backlash from the RTP announcement so they wanted to reel customers back in.

Pretty good move, if you ask me. I'm pumped to play the demo tonight to try out what everyone is talking about.

Anyone who calls this NCAA 12.5 is wrong.

Much, much better.

Also, Heisman mode is fun. Don't hate it until you try it. I liked RG3 as Oregon.

Just played the demo and here is my take: NCAA 12 smoother version, but with the same gameplay mostly. I played the demo and then went back to 12 and played that---can't say it's THAT much different. The CPU AI is still flawed and the CPU still doesn't seem to run the option well. Play action is a bit better, but still too much heat from the CPU to soon. Is it worth 60.00? If you buy it every year anyway, then you don't need my impression. After playing the demo, I plan on keeping 12 and waiting for 14---not enough difference in the demo for me to say WOW, let me go throw down 60.00 bucks. I can waste it on beer or something else. After you guys play it for awhile and the kinks get ironed out AND my buds in online dynasties ditch 12 ,then maybe later at a discounted price. ADDED AFTER PLAYING DEMO 2ND TIME: The graphics look WORSE (reminds me of NCAA 10). Passing does seem better, but has that 09 wide open feel. Even with the presentation addition, game still seems stale. I agree with the posters who said the audio is not good. I deleted the demo and I am keeping 12. NCAA 14 may be a buy with the infinity engine, so I can wait. Don't take this personal, just my opinion of the demo, not ragging on you if you like it or plan on buying the game. Just my take!!!!
