I changed my preorder to madden but after playing it I really enjoyed it. the biggest thing to me that needs to be fixed is blocking engagements and pass rush. But this game seems pretty solid to me. Passing feels really good, you can lead pass to imcompletes, nice trajectories. LOVE THE QB AVOIDENCE MOVES! game seems smooth. and suprisingly enjoyed the heisman challenge thing. Although i see myself racking up ridiculously stupid numbers.

EA is notorious for overemphasizing their 'key updates'.

Chances are in the retail version, stadium updates will be toned down or not be focused on a single team multiple times.

I have to tear apart my Xbox because the disc tray got knocked loose, so I'll wait for the PS3 version to try it out on that.

ya'll should try hesiman mode I actually like it better playing as RG3. It wasn't as easy compared to regular games since the difficulty level is on easy.

Almost ran a 40+ punt return back b/c they actually block now got to the 2 yard line before I got push out of bounds.

should be better controls for oline play and dplay. especially offensive line trying to set up as a block its hard to get in stance at snap of ball. you should be able to go help out other lineman instead of waiting for your turn to block If you miss b/c your guy stands straight up instead of be in form already you give up negative play.

Just had a play on defense were my DL was 4 quarterbacks, and my entire back 7 was wide receivers. Using UO against USC

Yup! I believe one of the captains for Oregon was a white guy with blond hair I've never seen before in NCAA.

Wow, just threw a long pass, it was tipped by a defender, the ball hit the ground ,a second defender picked it up and started running with it. I made the tackle, their ball. Interesting. The auto replay clearly showed the ball on the ground. I'm sure it's just a demo glitch. Still a bit bothersome.

Liked hearing in the commentary, especially in a demo, talk about USCs offense preparing players for the NFL. Was a nice touch and I dont remember if that was in last year.

Remember guys, this blog is called YOUR IMPRESSIONS! I've noticed some slams on people that didn't like it. This isn't post only your good thoughts! I played the demo twice and still didn't see what a lot of you guys saw. To me it's the same game with a little better passing in the DEMO. If you see Jesus, good for you and I LOVE that you are so excited about the demo. I look for you guys to play the hell out of the game in the early stages, find the bugs, get them fixed. After playing the demo twice, I'm waiting for 14 and not buying this even at a discount. I really feel EA after 12 should allow everyone with a copy of 12 to exchange it for 13 for free if they want to--only good business. I remember watching one of the podcasts? and seeing the EA guys bashing 12 themselves. What other product (toilet paper, razors, etc) do you buy over and over again that is jacked? Everyone wins.

Also, you can skip the studio updates by pressing A. One thing I don't like about them is Nessler's interaction with the Studio Guy (Brain Fart, forgot his name). He usually just says, 'Thanks [Dude's Name], it's X-X here.' I was hoping for a little more, like 'Thanks [Name]. If that score holds up, TCU will pass Baylor for 3rd place in the Big 12 if the Bears lose.' or if the score is an odd one 'Wow! Who'd of thought Texas Tech would beat Texas. That makes the conference title wide open, and the winner today might just get to a BCS Bowl.'

I did like that he said TCU leaped to victory. I think that was a pun in regards to the Frog mascot, so hopefully there are a few lines like that in the game.

I was just thinking last night that there were new head models. It even looked like one of the Oregon captains had a mullett.......a really bad one, but it was a mullett.

I've played 3 games and have not seen a white jersey get dirty? The pants do, heck the sleeves have If colored but no dirt On white jerseys.
