LOL...If ND doesn't deserve it? Um, ND hasn't done anything in the last 20 years. That's a pretty bad comparison. Especially when Auburn has won a NC in 2010, gone undefeated in 2004, and has had one losing season in the last 10 years.
Not that it even matters anyway. Prestige in the game is PURELY a recruiting attribute. That is all that it matters about in the game.
Auburn's recruiting under Chizik has been Top 10 every single year he's had a full year to recruit. This coming class will be yet another Top 10 class as well.
The 6* prestige is fine for AU.CFB: Ohio State, FSU

Re: NCAA Football '13-Team Ratings
You dont compare recents compare overalls. And recruiting class mean nothing til they produce. Prestige is earned on the field though and if it's purely recruiting Boise wouldn't be a 5*. They don't recruit that level of player. And before the NC what were u guys doing? Cam Newton, one player doesn't make you a 6*.
Alabama - Worthy
Auburn - Unworthy
Florida - Worthy
LSU - Worthy
Michigan +1 - Unworthy
Notre Dame +1 - Unworthy
Ohio State - Worthy
Oklahoma - Worthy
Oregon - Worthy
Texas - Worthy
USC - Worthy
My opinion.Comment

Oregon just won it's first BCS game last year. They have no history. If losing in the BCS gams stands for something the OSU jokes should stop then.CFB: Ohio State, FSU

Re: NCAA Football '13-Team Ratings
Notre Dame and Michigan are always going to be 6*. They are always going to be prestigious programs. Just look at the recruits they get each year. There is more history factored into prestige then anything and those two schools certainly have a storied history.Comment

Recruiting. As I said, AU recruits at an elite level under Chiz so in that regard, the rating is fine.
If you don't like the rating, that's your prerogative. But regarding it's major functionality in the GAME, recruiting, it's very plausible.
Auburn has a NC and a boatload of 4 and 5 star talent on the depth chart (all underclassmen it seems as well). I don't see the reason for the hate.
UF has been mediocre to bad the last 3 years.
Ohio State isn't exactly in tip top shape right now BTW.AUBURN TIGERS

Well bless your heart.
The fact of the matter is, there are 4 stars that can be argued as 5 stars and some 5 stars should be 4 stars.Comment

Re: NCAA Football '13-Team Ratings
The Bama fan at the top of this page wondered why the Longhorns team ratings were so good that they were up there with Bama and LSU and I was just showing him the top ten players from UT and LSU so that he could compare if he had not already seen them.Comment

No offense to Auburn fans, great recruiting with Chizik, but they only had one great year.
I never said anything about OSU.Comment
