Re: Some More NCAA Football 13 Screenshots
I know Im going to be ticked if they try an charge for uniform packs....
If they start trying to get profit from that then Teambuilder is never going to get any substantial updates
With Teambuilder by now we should have
-Ability to edit an NCAA Roster File just like we were playing on our consoles only with the convenience of a Keyboard/Mouse...maybe even expanded functionality to allow Global Rating Changes(See Flying Fynns 2k5 Roster Editor)
-Ability to create/add at least 3 Alt uniforms to current teams within the game
-Create your Intro/Run OutHere We Go Steelers!!! Here We Go!!!
My CFB Teams: Marshall..WVU-Go Herd/Eeers!!!

Don't go into the individual player ratings thread. You're bound to have a panic attack.Comment

one more time. it's the same thing they do each and every year. please go look up screen shots that were released for 2012, 2011, and 2010. they do the exact same thing every year and every year there's someone like you with the same kinds of questions and like cparrish said once the game comes out it's all put to bed.
Now, if your after why they do it this way well it's already been said several times you apparently just don't like the answer.
In fact, the very first NCAA 12 screenshot contained pro combat uniforms for Miami and Florida. And one of the very first full sets included Maryland's new uniform set. I even remember one screenshot that showed a ref that had slipped and fell (never made it to retail).
What I'm saying is, screenshots have traditionally been used to showcase the game and what they've done to improve it. These screenshots could be NCAA 12 and no one would know the difference.Comment

It's not schtick it's a fact and I'm sorry it's not to your liking
Which would seem to support the theory that they're not based on real players which EA has admitted several times. They rate out the rosters as a whole they don't go through individually rating each player in the default roster to attempt to match the real life counterpart. so all those threads complaining about the ratings are basically slamming their own heads into a wallComment

Re: Some More NCAA Football 13 Screenshots
No they don't. The developers have said over and over they don't rate individual players they rate out teams. and you don't know anything about me and please stop implying otherwiseComment

What they say and what they do are often two different things. That is public relations 101.Comment

Re: Some More NCAA Football 13 Screenshots
After seeing some other posts in this thread, I'm starting to think some people are afraid a lawyer will find this thread and use it against EA in a lawsuit. That's the only explanation I can come up for for this.Comment

Re: Some More NCAA Football 13 Screenshots
pretty sure a couple of years ago denard robinson was white in the game and over the years there's been countless other examples like that in terms of skin color. As for ratings yes they've told us that if a team has running QB IRL then he will be in the game, but it's no where near as specific as a game like Madden for obvious reasons. Do you honestly think they have anyone on their team who's charged with compiling ratings for almost 9,000 real players? You keep mentioning one guy and I'm not arguing that a few marquee guys like robinson maybe get more attention, but by and large in no way are these players representative of their actual counterparts in terms of ratingsComment

Re: Some More NCAA Football 13 Screenshots
how come i know for a fact that before the game comes out, the starting qbs for virginia tech, michigan and ohio st will be black, and the starting qbs for usc, oregon and oklahoma will be white...??
hmmm, let me gaze into the crystal ball...
how i also know that #16 will be the starting qb for michigan, the fastest qb in the game...hmmmm...how do i know that the starting qb for virginia tech will be #3 and 6 foot 5???
hmmm....
how do i know that the starting qb for ohio st will be #5
hmmmm.....
how do i know that the starting qb for usc will be #7, a senior, with over 90+ rating???
HMMMMMMMMMM....
i'll tell u why. because i watch college football. i also know when to check the TEAMBUILDER stats of the players when they're released before the game. and they hit the nail on the head.... the player's #, year, height, weight, projected skill sets...THEY EVEN go as far as to tell you where they're from (and the cities are almost close enough); and they even get their skin color correct (at least 95% of the time)
so please...when you can explain to me how this is done year in and year out, get back to me. but, of course you can't, so you'll continue repeating yourself over and over.Comment
