Wow. That was very unimpressive. Its the same old nonsense, with different cutscenes and new overlays. Is pretty pathetic, actually.

Re: NCAA Football 14 Presentation Trailer
Thank God for some kind of video. I watched it a few times and paused it to catch some things.
-The players talking will be cool. I just dont like those cut scenes man.
-The new overlays are good! I like they "Dynamic 3" thing they did for Oregon.
-Still didnt see the Revo Speed 2 bar facemask equipment guys
-Rece Davis and David Pollack sounded legit. Bout how fresh is the commentary going to be?
Other than that everything else looked better than last year.Comment

Re: Presentation Playbook Video
I believe I understand what you mean but I imagine the best chance of that completely going away is them transitioning to real time presentation, instead of cut scenes. I expect that's what we will see on next-gen and I am hoping they might even offer RTP for M25.
As long as these new cut scenes with audio transitional well back to the live action, that's an improvement, imo.Comment

Re: Presentation Playbook Video
It's not pre-rendered like EA's cutscenes. It's like MLB The Show and NBA 2k with actual in game animations and dynamic camera cuts. Basically everything seen on those games you can watch in replay mode from any angle. EA's you can't because it's a pre-rendered cutscene and did not just happen on the field. With the right angles, zooms and cuts it can be made to look exactly like a broadcast. Madden 12 was closer to having real time presentation look than both 13 games and NCAA 14 so far.http://twitter.com/sageinfinite

Re: NCAA Football 14 Presentation Trailer
I wish EA would get rid of cut scenes in favor of live action cut ins. Cut scenes make the presentation look so generic. I don't care if they add 100 more, after a few games it's just the same thing over and over again. Madden did a couple years ago, time for NCAA to move on.[NYK|DAL|VT]

Exactly. They could also use smarter angles and zooms to help remedy this.http://twitter.com/sageinfinite

NBA2k was the first to implement this if I am not mistaken.Comment

Also, couldn't help but notice the difference in the fans in the stands between the two videos. The Show and NBA 2K seem to have much more detailed/interactive crowds than either EA football game.Comment
