Maybe I'm not being clear on what is happening. If I go into the House Rules and change the quarter length from 6 to 7, and then back out to the main dynasty screen, that should save the change. When I go back into the House Rules, I can see that indeed it did save my change of the quarter length from 6 to 7, because now I see a 7.

However, if I do the same thing for Starting Coach Level, it does not save. I change it from default to 7, then back out to the main dynasty screen. If I then go back into the House Rules, it still says default, when it should say 7.

In other words, it ain't saving the changes I make to the Starting Coach Level.

But somebody on this thread said their commish was able to change it and it saved, which is what I am trying to figure out how he did it.

I think because it changes things for everyone as far as coaches guy, you need to change the coaches starting level to whatever you need it to be, then immediately advance into the next week. This ensures that info gets uploaded into the EA servers. I believe thats the problem you are having. Changing the quarter level is basic and doesn't require as much info. I hope that helps to clarify. I know this is how a commish needs to change and/or edit players in an OD. You change what you need to change, then immediately advance the week.

Maybe I'm not being clear. I realize it still says 1 when you exit out and come back in. Who cares. Change it to whatever number you want and back out. Advance the week. Enjoy.

It doesnt work. We have tried it in 2 different dynasties. You change it off default, you back out to "save" only it doesnt, if you go back into settings immediately, its back on default. If you advance, its still on default. 100%.

Thank you! This is EXAXTLY what I was trying to say. It doesn't save when you switch the coach starting level.

                      So wait, norto and gameface

Even after you try changing it and a new guy joins or rejoins they aren't getting the level 6 boost?

Re: Not getting XP for your coach in Dynasty

Nope. I mean its easy to see even before advancing. Any other setting on the game... you change it and back out, it at least saves within the settings on your screen before advancing, but until you advance the Dynasty will not change for the overall dynasty on the server.

In this instance, it doesnt even save on your screen, no matter how many times you change it off default.

The highest level coach in league is 14. We had 3 guys replace others so they were all still level 1 and getting no xp. Even if they continued to get no xp it was fine, we just wanted to give them the same 14 levels (along with everyone else already in) and figured we would just continue to do this reset every new season.

It simply doesnt work. I wish it did, because its a shame and such a game breaking glitch.

I can confirm this problem as well, it DOES NOT change when advanced.

Restarting dynsaty is only viable solution, reading other leagues, the patch fixed it but you have to restart for it to take effect, ugh..

It's insane that there isn't a fix for existing ODs.

Well damn. I was wrong. My apologies. In my dynasty, it did not show the changed until we advanced.
