If somebody, EA, 2K, doesn't matter, makes a generic game with a good engine and a teambuilder type deal where people can make any amount of teams or conferences they want, I'm sure it will sell

Truly stunned, I don't know what it's like not to have a game every July, And to think it happens just when EA was making huge strides in this game. However if EA finds a way to keep the licensing with the teams, Bowls, and Conferences there's no way this series ends.

This is also true. Seems like there is a catch-22 for a lot of scenarios.

yep. Just needs to be done right. If we see a developer like Konami or UBISoft though, then we need to start worrying. I'm 70% confident 2K is running around their offices saying "yes yes yes!"

The former player wouldnt charge its school individually it would charge the conferences and the CLC which covers all 127 teams.

                          UPDATED the story.

This isn't as big of a deal as it sounds for sure, but does make me worry about the series' future. If we get a game next year though, this series isn't going anwhere IMO.

They should name the next version Reggie Bush's Heisman Football 2015 just to stick it to the NCAA.

If it's so easy for them to continue the series WITHOUT NCAA, then why the hell didn't they get rid of them years ago so they could do whatever they wanted? If it was unnecessary to begin with, I can't imagine EA would have wanted the contract themselves..

I'm sure they are, because the last generic game they made sold so well.
