Read option is incredibly easy to run.

The triple options, shovel and veer plays require some split second reaction times, but the regular read is incredibly simple and almost a guaranteed 5 yard play with the defense the way it is

I use it depending on the star players of the defense. Sometimes when their OLB is a star...they are better at judging the play

Also on Heisman sometimes...if the defender chooses to stay with the QB...there is another defender waiting on the RB

Might be less of a Heisman setting and more of a right play call though.

With fumbles being such a non-factor in this year's game, not really. Don't even need to play with caution when keeping the handoff with the QB due to it. I don't even attempt to avoid the big hit this year.

Not to mention the read option itself is very easy to read.

I've had a good amount of success with the read option.

I did find it interesting that the experience changed from week to week in my dynasty. One week, the other team would constantly crash the RB and my QB ended up with 150 yds on the ground. Next week, the DE almost always stayed put on the outside and my RB ended up with over 200 yds. I'm glad it's not just the same defense week in and week out.

I am pretty successful with it. I love the new system. I never ran it in previous years because I was never successful with it.
