Actually had to have a walk on that season.

Also what are the rules if you have people decide to go to your school if they are more then 1 star recruits. I had to HBs that were three star recruits come to my school after me never even scouting or talking to them once. I ended up cutting them just to be safe at the time but in the future, is it fine to leave them?

Did they just randomly appear on your recruiting board? If so, then you should turn off the CPU auto board fill, then you should only have the 1* players that you targeted.

I already turned that off. They were never once on my recruiting board but at the end of the season, I looked at my recruiting class rank and it said I had two three star recruits. At the beginning of the season, there were a couple of two star and three star recruits that had me as their top choice, is it possible they were not recruited by other colleges so they decided to go to my college anyways?

The CPU will almost always add guys to your class on signing day if you're below 25 signings. I only recruit to 70 players so I never come close to 25 myself so the CPU adds them anyway. There are few people that apparently don't get these extra signings (in my OD we called them phantom recruits) but we've never been able to determine why the few don't get them.

I consider it a bug, but I'm sure EA considers it a feature. It's been like this for at least the last 2 releases. It's only a PITA for people that only sign to 70 I guess.

No, I don't have any recruiting assists turned on. Also, they never show up on your board, even on signing day. It's a pain to find them because you have to:

1. have a list of the guys that you really did sign
2. Look @ the details of your recruiting class to see everyone signed (your signings plus the phantom recruits)
3. Compare the list and write down the names of the guys that were signed, but not by you
4. Wait until cuts and then cut the phantom recruits.

To make the cuts easier, I always change the phantoms to punters during position changes and then just cut all of my bogus punters when cuts come around.

The phantoms aren't always scrubs either. In my last recruiting class with 5* Michigan I had a huge class of 20 kids and the CPU added 5 phantoms to my class including 3 3*, 1 4*, and 1 5* (I'm pretty sure the 5* was rated 80 OVR!).

Wow I didn't think this would get as big as it did. I started a new one with UNC Charlottle. All real life changes has been made with sliders. Some of you ask about recruiting.

The key is Juco's! Build your team around your best players and find a offense that uses them. I been finding some that has 9+ OVR boost that will boost your team.

I am glad everyone likes this challenge. My first season I went 2-10.

Wow I didn't think this would get as big as it did. I started a new one with UNC Charlottle. All real life changes has been made with sliders. Some of you ask about recruiting.

The key is Juco's! Build your team around your best players and find a offense that uses them. I been finding some that has 9+ OVR boost that will boost your team.

Well my game against New Mexico State turned into a joke. I won 52-21 with 2 of their TDs coming of kickoffs that I was simming. At least next week we travel to #2 Alabama, which was a game that I lost 42-7 last year....

My first game vs UMASS was a barn burner. I returned two kickoffs for TD's. The key one was with 9 secs left 106 yards to win the game 44-43!

Finished my 6th season with Georgia State being ranked #19 and going 12-1 and winning the Sun Belt Conference and the New Orleans Bowl. My record isn't that good though considering I played 5 FCS teams.

Why not move to a different conference? If you're blowing out the Sun Belt, why are you still in it, I say move to like the BIG 10.

That was my first season getting over 6 wins and most of the wins were pretty much luck considering I simmed most of the season.
