Look what I found last night lol... The people complaining about the little things should go back and watch some gameplay of this classic on youtube

My favorite team to play with on that game was the Arizona Wildcats and their Cactus Curtain/Desert Swarm defense. I would play keep away on offense running the ball and running the clock down and then play **** down defense. The memories lol.

I remember Joey Galloway was no slouch in that game either. I had a friend that would always use Ohio State and Scream "JOEY!" every time he'd burn one of us with a play to him.

I actually found that in a little town in Ohio. Bought a mini-Genesis too. Played the **** out of this in college.

I fully admit that I drifted away from OS after the NCAAF series was put on ice. Started to focus on other ventures and played a few other games. That said, the passion I had for NCAAF I've never had for another game period. I'm in my 50's yet my anticipation for this game has me feeling like a kid waiting for Christmas. Glad I made the decision to come back to OS. Great to see the enthusiasm and some old faces, errrrr, usernames anyway.

I do question the marketing strategy. With the madden reveal coming next Tuesday I sort of expected the deep dives for this game to come out a little quicker. Now both info streams will be battling each other for attention.

It'll be the Madden Cover reveal on Tuesday and Full Reveal and Beta on Thursday.

But yeah, it'll be both battling for attention.

No, it would've been out already. It seems like 6 weeks to 2 months out is how EA does their betas.

Maybe next year. It would be around Mid-May to early June..

been thinking the same thing. Would've thought we'd get a little more CFB earlier then a lull during the madden reveal. More of a complimentary approach vs h2h

I am too. I was 26 when I joined. I'm 48, about to turn 49 in September Lord willing. Crazy thing is, I've never taken any time off from this site in the 22 years I've been here. There has always been some to talk about across all the different forums. I love all sports so this is like my gaming Country Club lol.

I drifted away from this site even prior to the game going away.

To me, the NCAA series seemed stuck in the mud like it's NFL brother. It never quite captured the magic that it had early in the PS2 days.

I actually wanted it to take a break for a few years just to reset. That said, I didn't want the break to last a decade.

I've been on this board more in the last few weeks than I have in the last 10 years.

Too bad some of the other old boards didn't make it, especially Maddenmania.

It was a different world back then, though.

Agreed. I thought CFB might be quiet next week, and give Madden some room to debut, but I can’t imagine CFB being quiet for another full week+, so I guess that would mean we’ll get info on both next week.. hopefully. [emoji2371]

I quit playing video games when I was 18, because I thought I was ''too old'', after having played them since I was old enought to hold a controller. I didn't play again until I was 28. Since then, its been my constant hobby and they can have my controller back when they pull it from my cold dead hands.
