Re: The excitement in these forums are at an all time high
I can only speak for myself, but I am 45 years old, and I have been playing this game since Bill Walsh's days. I have been playing this game since before the birth of my son, and he was brought into this game, so this release is huge.Comment

Agreed. I just lurk around the past few years but I’m more active now since college football is coming back. It’s like a Family reunion out here.

Re: The excitement in these forums are at an all time high
I will be 50 in September. I have been playing since NCAA '98. I purchased a PSOne well after the PS2 was out. I saw some kids I was keeping one summer play NCAA 2004. I saw the graphics and play by play commentary. Not the monotone "first down" or "interception". Man, I was hooked. I had to save my money to purchase a PS2 and NCAA 2003. Been playing ever since. I just bought my PS5 last week.Comment

I've been playing since NCAA 03 and can not wait to have the game back! I have my reservations as EA is a terrible company, but it truly looks like they put in some amazing effort to make this game special. I love that the game speed is going to be 30% faster than Madden, it's much needed.
I'm starting up an online dynasty. If anyone is interested you can pm me, or check out our discord Tradition College Dynasties.

NCAA 2003 for me as well. OG XBOX.
Was the first video game I bought with my own money and I played the crap out of that game. The Harrington cover art is forever burned in my brain as a core life memory.
Still remember the years of mailing memory cards for rosters.. then eventually downloading them online and transferring..
Couldn’t be more excited for this game.
It’s embarrassing how many times each day I check these forums, as well as a handful of influencers and accounts on Twitter that I follow exclusively for this game.

Re: The excitement in these forums are at an all time high
I was in 7th grade living in Huntington, West Virginia. It was the summer of 1997 and our Marshall Thundering Herd had just gone 15-0 and won the FCS natty with Randy Moss. He was back, and the Herd was moving up to FBS.
My dad took me to Toys R Us to look at some games. They had a PS1 set up with NCAA 98. We read in the local paper that Marshall was in the game, but we didn’t know much else.
No one else was playing it, so I fired up an Exhibition (play now) game. I picked Boise State as my opponent because they were the worst team in the game haha. I picked my Herd as the home team.
When it loaded, I was absolutely awestruck that they had our home stadium in the game! Our little town’s stadium was in a video game!! Back then they didn’t have commentators, just a PA announcer. He opened with “Welcome to Huntington West Virginia for today’s game between the Boise State Broncos and the Marshall Thundering Herd.” I was hooked forever.Last edited by dylanrocks83; 06-11-2024, 07:55 PM.Comment

I haven’t been this excited for a sports game since Madden came to PC in 2018 (and that game sucked unfortunately). I know this game isn’t coming to PC which definitely hurt, but planning on moving my Xbox to connect to it so I can easily play all day.St. Louis Cardinals 4 lyfeComment
