Not really productive if that's not going to be in the cards for us

Who said that we must choose one or the other? Why are we “voting” to give up something we already have to get something else? Why does the other option have to go? Did I miss something from EA? Did they say “It’s gotta be one or the other.”

if EA loses sales after 26 it will be in for 27 or at worst 28 as a hailmary

ea has a 4 year contact at this point i dont expact utill 2027 season

i would agree with u but giving arch 50k to be in the game ruins EA argument

meaning they will try anything to keep this series and they will use 25 and 26 as test runs

i would say 26 but with only 8 mos of prep and likely trying to get real head coaches for 26 that will likely take at least 6-8 mos

Both. They are fake players. And we arent sharing rosters or selling them for money. Let each person edit all they want for their own personal dynasty.

No create a player for dynasty. The mode that everyone wants to play the most you cannot even create yourself. BAFFLING.

Yes and I’d definitely give that up for rating editing. It’s not even close. I want to be able to fix broken stuff down the line if needed.

Then that would probably throw off the player progression system, probably throw off the transfer portal (and flood the portal with players as all of the backups to players you maxed out will hit the portal), throw off recruiting (because most players probably wouldn't want to come to your school cause they have no chance of playing) wear and tear, and other systems.

We all complain about when one of these systems doesn't work to our exceptions but don't realize that doing things like editing rating could throw all of them off.

I don’t want to pick but if I had to I say names over numbers. At least with names you can put yourself in dynasty mode since there is no CAP. Which is a whole egregious topic of its own.

Names, numbers, height, weight, and equipment and I’ll be fine. Sure I’d like to edit attributes too but it’s not a deal breaker.

As far as not allowing us to make certain real life players…. Put a block on those names. Who is going to sue EA because Larry Jones editing this fake recruit’s number, name, and equipment just making him a more realistic fake guy instead of the cheddar EA generates. How long will it take for a guy named James James to pop up on your recruiting board?

This has absolutely nothing to do with the developers. This has everything to do with EA lawyers telling the development team that they can not risk more lawsuits by allowing the editing of numbers. I'm OK with not having the ability to edit numbers if that ensures we will continue to get this game in the future.

I think all of us have to put in prospective what we desire from this game and what could be at risk if we get what we want.

i would agree with u as well but after what they did to get arch in the game means that anything is on the table

that it might not be a player it might be norte dame holding this up

if it meant no norte dame but we could get full edit power i would choose no norte dame

Disagree completely. If their lawyers are telling them “yeah you guys can let the fans edit names, height, weight, and equipment but certainly not numbers” then they need new lawyers. Because that doesn’t make sense. At all. Ever.

To play devils advocate it could be the opposite.

They aren’t allowing editing bc they want people to buy the next iteration instead of creating a real life roster.
