Yes. It's silly that EA has it setup this way, especially after it was changed for the better in Madden.

It's clear that they started working on this game 2-3 years ago and a lot of improvements that found their way into Madden in that time frame were not carried over to this game. This specific issue, the QB pocket movement and scrambling logic, CPU ball carrier pathing, the timeout logic leading to a timeout at 1:01 exactly in late half situations, etc.

I love this game already despite some of the bigger issues, but it is a little disappointing that areas like this and those mentioned above weren't updated alongside Madden. I'm hopeful they can update those areas to match Madden with some patches and in CFB26's release. These are all legitimate areas where Madden made good strides and it would really benefit this series.

I believe at one time the accelerated clock was sort of “dynamic” in that it would run down to that 25 if it was like a short run but more if it was a longer play to simulate the time it takes to spot the ball etc. I played about 6 games last night between dynasty and RTG on 10 mins, 25 sec runoff and I attributed the variation in runoff times to that.

I'm playing now and have had several short runs where the play clock goes down to 12 even though I have AC set to 25.

I've also played a few games with AC turned off. First half is fine, but time starts running off in the second half even though it's still showing as off in the settings. Doesn't happen every time, but it's happened several times for me. So something is wonky with AC.

I've been playing 9/25 for years now and it's pretty much perfect for me. But the AC being bugged disrupts the flow of the game for me. Hopefully it gets patched; and maybe they can patch in having it run in the final two minutes of each half.

Accelerated Clock is the same in M25 as it is in CF25. So it's either a (very strange) design decision or they share a bug.
