I am on PS5 and press O in sim game to get to sim menu press O again to get main menu then go to coaching and make changes. Then back to Sim option in menu to continue. Hope that helps!

I am also struggling with the INT problem you mentioned even with the slider at 0. Actually, defense in general is just not quite right. There is nothing wrong with a 13-10 nail biter, but it virtually never happens. Always huge scoring, particularly in the fourth quarter, and it's kind of messing with the immersion for me.



I use sliders like VTCRB's posted above, which knock down accuracy and blocking and ups pass coverage, but it still produces shoot outs all the time. I have tried boosting speed parity into the 70s to cut down on all the big plays, but come the fourth quarter everyone becomes incapable of covering a fly route down the side line. I like me a miracle comeback or scoring explosion as much as the next guy, but every team shouldn't be averaging north of 25 points a game across the league.

Average Points per game is now 55 combined points. I have had some 17-13, 19-12, 21-6 games, but also had a 42-38, 55-7, etc.

Alot just depends on the matchup.

1 thing i have noticed watching all games CPU vs CPU and am enjoying on the whole. But yeah there it is...My QB seems to throw far more interceptions than whatever team i am playing even if my team is far better than the other team i throw 3 or 4 a game and am lucky to get 1 Int. All settings are the same so not sure why! Various teams i have been with and various QB`s and still i throw many more than CPU team.

question for you: are you watching games in dynasty or Play Now games? Is there a way to watch games (ie: not have to pick plays) in dynasty? I know it can be done in Play Now mode but in dynasty it seems to be no way to simply "watch' a game. Thanks...

Works the same way

You just have to take control of a team that you want to watch the game.

I usually watch about 5 games a week so I pick the 5 different coaches of the games for that week.

I use parity at 0 and still see low scoring games.

I suppose it's less the total points that bug me than the four combined touchdowns in the last three minutes stuff that happens so often. Just bomb after bomb. It doesn't seem to work consistently for or against my team, so I don't mean it's cheating or anything, it just feels like there is a hidden 'make it a big finish' slider that I'd like to tone way the hell down.



It probably just stands out more as the rest of the experience (barring the broken conference schedule) is pretty rock solid.

I have tried a few Slider sets and game plays well on all these, just cant get my QB to through 2 picks a game sometimes more. I get 1 takeaway every other game so in close games i am losing on takeaways usually. My current team USC rated 90 ovr and i struggle to beat teams over a an 83 as my QB will throw silly Ints every game and they wont. USC my 3rd team and all my QB`s have the same issue on all teams so it isnt just 1 bad QB. Still love the game tho

Has anyone figured out how to get your option quarterback to pitch the ball? I am in varsity difficulty, running slow sim, and my Army QB has yet to attempt a pitch. He either keeps or gives to the FB.

Thank you for the reply. I guess I'll post this in the Bugs and Glitches thread at some point.

Not a big deal as I said, but I don't understand how you're not able to pause a game. Instead, you have to close the game completely and boot it back up to start another game.

Sorry if this was answered. You can't pause during the slow sim but you can back out of the slow sim by pressing B/circle and pause the game. Then you can resume the slow sim whenever you please.

Still loving the mode on the whole! My QB stills throws more Int`s than the CPU QB by quite alot. I struggle in away games even if i am 10 ovr better than opponents. Went 11-1 with USC losing only to Ole Miss away who are 82 Ovr and i am 92 Ovr. My QB is 92 and throws stupid picks far to often compared to the CPU QB even if there QB is low 80 rated.

On the whole loving the game 11 seasons in starting with UL Munroe DC, Then HC C Michigan now HC USC!

Need help with something I assume is obvious but is eluding me. I enjoy CPU vs CPU and watch the games (Super Sim, Slow). How the hell do I stop the sim long enough to put in my backups. I just can't make it friggin stop and let me make the change. Any help would be immensely appreciated as I love the CPU vs CPU but if I have to watch blowouts all the way through every time I am gonna lose my mind.

I believe it may work this way on PS5 also but on xbox hitting the guide button auto pauses the game. But someone mentioned hitting O or B doing this also.

Thank you for the tip to turn off coach mode and the CPU will actually try to throw the ball on screens instead of taking 15-yard sacks.

The CPU was so happy with this change it threw something like 20 (!) screen passes in the first half. I had two RBs on the same team with 18 and 15 catches.
