    How do you select CPU v. CPU in dynasty? When I create a temporary User coach, and I go into the game screen, it forces me to take over for that team. Can you switch to CPU v CPU after kickoff, or am I missing something in pre-game?

      You pause it in the Game Menu and click on Super Sim....

      Select SLOW Game Speed with the Square Key

        Before the game, you have to go the Dynasty Central menu and then Members, and switch character back to your own team. Then when you play the game, the User team will be your team.

          I've noticed that the CPU team will automatically chew clock when they're way ahead late in the game. The User team will not chew clock unless you go into the play menu and select that option. If you go back to Slow Sim, and then back into the play menu again, you'll see that the chew clock option will still be in effect.

                So I played several games yesterday CPU vs CPU

                I set the tackle slider to 20 to help balance out a lower ball carry slider and the return game was beautiful.

                I saw a Kick return TD and few big returns.

                It seems with a lower tackle slider the special teams blocker can hold up just enough to open a Lane for the returner to see and hit it especially if he has a good ball carry vision rating.

                Also the threshold was just s tad lower from default to allow speed separation for fast returners.

                Man if I could create guys like Devin Hester or Rocket Ismail I'd be in heaven watching them explode on kickoffs

                  I posted this in another thread, but it’s worth mentioning here too.

                  If you are running the flexbone offense like Army's offense in a Dynasty, I would recommend moving your best HB to the FB position in the depth chart. The running back directly behind the QB is called the B-back in the flexbone, and he is primarily an inside running back. The computer will want to put your best FB in this position, and that's usually not the best choice.

                  Another suggestion is, if you plan on mostly running with few passes, and if you have excellent TE's, consider putting your TE's in the WR starting spots in the depth chart. WR's are mostly responsible for blocking in this offense, and sometimes possession receptions. As an example, Darren Waller, a Pro Bowl TE and for awhile the highest paid TE in the NFL, was actually a WR at Georgia Tech in the flexbone offense.

                  Finally, the game places HB's in the positions to the left and right of the QB. These backs are called A-backs. They need to be very quick and often receive pitches on the option. You should consider putting your best WR's in these positions. I haven't figured out how to do that yet in the game. But think of pitches almost like short passes. So, it's a good position for a quick WR.

                      10Min Quarters with 16Sec Clock ...... seem to produce on average about 110 rush/pass plays per game which matches the sim engine results.

                        I do 15 minute Quarters and 16 second Accelerated Clock.

                        I don't count plays but it seems to work out for Very Realistic Stats.

                          I just have to say, and I really hope Madden takes note. I absolutely LOVE that the cpu will Stop Clock spike the ball to mount a ending drive. That has been so needed in Madden. Im glad to see CFB do it.
                          Really wish sports games played to ratings!
                          Only thing SIM about sports games now, are the team name and players
                          CFB 25 The absolute GOAT!!!
                          MLB 23 FOREVER 20 is better, 23 just for Guardians
                          Madden get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably.

                              I’m enjoying it for the most part. Bad defensive angles on tackling is a bit of an eye sore. Can leave me pulling my hair out at some points….

                                I generally like this game, but I'm having severe issues. I was cycling through multiple sliders and difficulty, and finally decided on using Playmakers. Even with his sliders, I keep seeing the same issues on both offense and defense. I just finished my 4th season with Clemson, and we were 90's across the board... I've gone though multiple changes on oline and defense, but my team never seems to be able to consistantly be good and live up to the ratings. Idk about you guys, but I feel the game heavily goes against the user team.

                                I've analyzed how my oline constantly gets beat up even tho we're in the mid-to-high 80's and I try to make sure strengh, pass/run blk, etc fits but we still get beat often even by weaker dlines. My qb keeps over throwing and making weird decisions like throwing the ball away on 4th and short, down by a field goal with a few seconds left, and had a good running room...constantly running the oposite way taking sacks. My rbs, wr's, basically anyone keeps running into each other which either slows down the offense or gives up a big play. My guys can never defend the run and keep giving up catches underneath.

                                CB's will just give receivers space and let them catch, or sometimes have this weird little "hitch" that delays them before reacting to the receiver, constantly taking bad angles or not even attempting to tackle.

                                I do like this game, but playing cpu vs cpu more it's really sucking the fun out of it for me, because it feels as if the game doesn't actually let the true ratings decide the outcome. Weird things like players running into each other, only my team getting drops/penalties even at home like our own advantage is going against us. I just really needed a rant, because I really do like this game and want to enjoy it but it feels as if recruiting and building a team is pointless if the game is manipulating the gameplay imo. And I've been noticing this for the past 3 season on both AA and varsity. I never had my team have that many games go against me in 06. I will also note, my team always plays up to par, even when we lose, to bigger teams. It's always the lower ranked teams that have unbelievable blocking and dline, even tho the ratings say other wise. Ok rant over lol. Anyone else experiencing these issues?
