CPU vs CPU players: since the patch, are you seeing a sack almost every time the offense tries to run a slip screen to the running back? The QB just holds the ball, almost every time, for both teams, regardless of archetype. Once in a great while he’ll get off a last second incompletion at his own feet.

I’m on Varsity, BTW.

I was seeing this from day 1. I completely removed slip screens from my playbook

I’m on Varsity, BTW.

Have a look to see if you have coach mode on. I know when I turned coach mode off screens started to run perfectly. It’s the same issue Madden has too.

Question: haven't had a chance to explore/play much yet but have a bit more time now. In an offline dynasty I dont seem to be able to just have CPU vs CPU. I cant find where to make the choice either pregame or in-game to let the CPU play itself.
Also, looking at the week 1 league schedule, i'd like to be able to watch another game not involving my team but I only see options to "Force a Home Win" or "Force an Away Win" (both of which are goofy to me, BTW) or "Reset".

Any insight? Been playing NCAA Football a very long time but the new game takes some getting used to. Thanks for any help!

Welcome back Billy

You have to select super SIM then slow speed and select the option to play til the end of the game right before the kickoff.

It will then put you in CPU vs CPU mode which is awesome btw

Only way to do this is to become HC of one of the teams. Watch the game as you would normal and then retire the HC. But if a pain but it’s the only way unfortunately

You’re welcome. It bugged me for ages on Madden. But it proves that Madden and CFB are running the exact same programming.

I cant see where to choose "slow speed" anywhere either pregame or in game in dynasty.

Also do any choices allow me to simply watch without choosing plays on offense or defense? Sometimes I like to have a game playing in the background while Im doing other things.

Among many questions I have (not sure if this is the right forum for this Q), I have been baffled by jersey number changes (on my dynasty team) of star players. For example, my dynasty Texas Longhorn team in year 2 had jersey number change for star LB Anthony Hill Jr. (#0 to #17). It happened in year two of previous dynasty I ran but with different players. I just didn't know of this board at the time to ask about this.

Yes, I did have it on. A couple of posts up another user gave me the same advice, and it solved the problem.
