The color black looks faded and more grayish in ALL of EA's sports games. I haven't bought FIFA in a couple of years, but I can remember it being especially bad with this.

Oh yeah, it’s been a plague for awhile. I remember the last nba 2k I got it was pretty bad too. Hopefully it is able to be adjusted this year, but I’m not hopeful

Its noticeable with white too, if you compare a white sleeve or something to a white team color sleeve you can see a little bit of a difference

Interesting. I thought they finally got the white right for the most part. Like on arm sleeves and long “tight” sleeves it’s more close imo. Things like the baggy white sleeves look like 20 year old dingy white clothes though. It is actually pretty noticeable in a lot of cleats too tbf. Dingy looking.

The white gloves could use some work too actually. Guess there’s still a lot of off white in the game. The Nike jet 6 in white actually looks good. Adidas def needs a white glove that looks right. If you put them on with white sleeves or accessories it looks pretty bad.

Nice! Curious to see if the new scans for white helmets look a little more white. I feel like maybe some of the newer scans look a bit better. I’d have to go thru and look at a couple tho.

After messing around with Colorado in a couple night games, I feel the gold on the helmet needs to be the same shade as the gold on the new home jersey numbers.

Not sure if that matches the Army shade or not, but the numbers are spot on.

It's funny. There are some golds that are TOO gold in the game, such as Boston College, Colorado, etc. But then you have ND, which is arguably THE gold helmet school, and they are absolutely not gold enough during any gametime, but ESPECIALLY at night. In which they look absolutely awful. But what's funny to me, is that these other gold helmet teams helmets look totally fine at night. But ND? Shiny brown turds. I dunno how they screwed that up again a decade later.

New red alternate helmet for Western Kentucky. New blue helmet for Louisiana Tech. Miami Vice for FIU. New white helmet for Iowa State.

Memphis “white” sock selection produces black legs sleeves. The “black” selection produces black as well.

Man, once you notice that white helmet issue it’s hard to look past. You can really tell on the bumper on front of the helmet when they’re also white. The white there is how the helmets should look.

I know right? The problem is that EA seems to coloring the helmets off white by default, rather than making them white and letting their lighting system change the color. Cause during night games, and even some overcast games, white helmets in real life absolutely do look like they're slightly off. Or in some cases (Stanford home games in particular I've noticed) the lights make them look REALLY off white. But the thing is, when they do the zoomed in shots from field level, the helmets don't look as off white. Because it's something to do with the overhead shot and the artificial lighting. (IRL) But in game, because the helmets seem to be off white by default, it looks even more exaggerated. There are some white helmets in game that are less off white, and some that are even more than others. For example, Texas and Ole Miss seem to have helmets that are MORE off white. Those ones look bad even during noon games. I've tried sharing screenshots comparing real life night game shots vs in game shots on Twitter, EA's forums, here, Instagram. But no one from EA has ever acknowledged them. So it is what it is I guess. But I flat out cannot do a dynasty with a team with a white helmet as their primary helmet. It just looks so awful to me, and I can't stand looking at it.

Yeah, Texas’ are REAL bad and Penn State too. I know what ya mean about the lighting. I’m guessing that’s what they were going for too.

I am curious how they put uniforms in. Is it a scan? Maybe the scan is taken in lighting that makes it come out like that. Same way with black jerseys and socks being almost charcoal. Team color accessories too if it’s “black”. Really hope there’s a way they can touch this up in 25, but like you I’m not super hopeful.

They still haven’t updated the stripes on Virginia’s white helmets.
