Feels like with classic, reticle speed can be looked at as lead sensitivity. I swear when trying to throw deep I end up throwing short with the speed at 1 even with the increase at medium. Big difference from when I was using just the default classic passing setup.

So what was the default classic passing setup.....refresh my memory! If it's better for the deep ball I am all ears for sure....I also see some under throws here and there on the deep flag routes etc.

Tried the average Joe Varsity sliders out in some coach mode action for a few dynasty games today. That’s where they really shined for me. Just further proof that I’m no longer a sports gamer save for some light head-to-head action against my son or my cousin. My son is just for me to give character building lol and my cousin and I have battles. Lol

Against the AI it’s either coach mode or AI vs AI. *Sigh*

not to hijack the thread or anything, but I am curious about this. Have any of you ever played the game on All American, ALL settings at default, except for the gameplay Helpers?
I haven't played for months, but I am playing with everything else at default, 6 minute quarters, no accelerated clock, and having a great time.

Gameplay Helpers:

Auto Flip Defensive Play Call - Off
Defensive Ball Hawk - Off
Defensive Heat Seeker - Off
Defensive Heat Seeker Window Size - 100
Defensive Switch Assist - Off
Controlled Player art - Off

Not sure if it's my screen, but all the blue text in the original post is basically unreadable how bright it is on the dark bg. I haven't been on here in a while but I see OS changed its look fairly drastically.

Yes I have 3 sets.

All American

All American Average Joe (dialed down difficulty)

Varsity Average Joe (dialed down difficulty)

I play on Varsity Average Joe and it is a perfect fit for me.

They all play really well depending on how hard you want the game.

Just asking -- is the "varsity" not very very easy?

It certainly is not for me. It is very fair and balanced. Sizes may vary. I have no idea how good you are at the game. For some color, I am 55 years old and don’t cheese the CPU. They are perfect for my skill level and what I am trying to get out of the game.

The All-Pro set is tough. The Average Joe All-Pro a little more forgiving.

Varsity is certainly more wide open. And the key difference is you have a second more to make your reads in the passing game which at my age and with my eyes…..I need.

However AP plays are superb, highly challenging game as well.

A heads up to my Average Joe CFB nation.

I will be playing the 10 hour trial of CFB 26. That will be my litmus to determine if it will be a purchase this cycle.

I am absolutely out Madden 26. Absolutely not purchasing that game after two straight cycles of not even getting thru one season.

I am fully a year round CFB video gamer now. It’s a vastly superior experience on and off the field.

We are in on CFB 26

I trust this development team. I can already feel in my bones this will absolutely be an upgrade of CFB 25 which I have now logged over 600 hours on. I am looking forward to starting another multi year dynasty and playing this game all year yet again.

I pre-ordered the standard version thru EA play with a 10% discount ($62.99). I will be on a cruise the week of release so our CFB 26 Average Joe Varsity Slider Thread won't start up in earnest till a week after release.
