    Injuries Setting

Playing default exhibition games I would see 4-5 injuries per game between the 2 teams that were minor and kept guys out for a few plays. In my dyasty with the injuries at the default, 35, I don't thnk I have seen one for either team in 4 games. I see a variance in this setting in the different sliders posted. What are everyone's thoughts on this?

Bro honestly I think Injuries are broken right now, I have mine at 70, I get multiple injuries per game "temporary stingers" however no multiweek lasting injuries. Now some may be getting a different experience but I have played over 30 games in dynasty 15 min quarters, multiple different save files, multiple different sliders and this is where I'm at. Still testing and trying new things because this for me is dynasty breaking

I'm pretty sure outside of random freak "instant" injuries, most injuries are tied to the wear and tear system.

This is why you very rarely see user injuries versus CPU injuries. If you notice, when you advance a week, check the CPU's depth charts. 90% of the time they have a ton of players with pretty big wear and tear.

For the user, if you are managing your wear and tear in-game through subs and rotating players out, you just don't see many injuries.

If you leave said players in though, they will get multi week injuries.

Disagree they will not, I do not rotate players at all during testing, players with HIGH injury risk simply don't get injured. Also tried and turning OFF Wear and Tear thinking they are possibly linked ... They are NOT, because with it OFF, Injuries at 70, I still DONT get any

Simply put, injuries and the lack thereof is very disappointing.

this is the thread I was looking for cause Ive seen in my online dynasty where the wear and tear is going down but I can run a player into the ground and he doesn't get injured. Ive only had 1 injury in 2 seasons playing

I wonder if it's something we might see getting better over time. We know how EA like to give high injury ratings in their base rosters, as generated players come in with more reasonable injury ratings it may lead to more injuries in season two and increase again in seasons three and four.

I have two different teams I play with. On one team I lost a LB for the season. On the other I lost a RT for 4 weeks. Other than that, nada. Agree it's broke. The frequency of stingers is dumb too. It's way overblown.

I simmed 6 seasons in advance I think it was 2029 or 2030 and tested it also, I had the same thought. No difference sadly. I was hope this was the case.

Anyone playing with auto subs still at default and not have any weare and tear for your team? I never have wear and tear for any player between games compared to all of the cpu teams having tons for their starters. I did alter the auto subs though so wondering if that has anything to do with it.

No, I've tested with default like you see no change, I believe injuries and wear and tear are broken

                              Re: Injuries Setting

I've been running the Injury slider at around 55 or 60 for the majority of my nearly two full seasons of Dynasty and in the first season, I barely saw an injury at all; I think I had two players with multi-week injuries the entire year.

However, this year is a whole other story! I get 5-6 injuries per game but what's strange about them is that I get the prompt to select whether to play them or not (and I almost always choose to sit them out) but like 3-4 plays later, they're back in the game. What's more is that I'll get notified on the ticker multiple times that the player is injured, like it triggers the post-play scene but they never actually seem to come out. I have to manually go into my Depth Chart and remove them to ensure they don't play.

... and get this, I had a prompt tell me that my starting tight end would miss the rest of the season but later in the game, he would sporadically pop in for a few snaps (I think through my manual formation subs?) and after the game, he was not listed as injured. I know for 100% certain that in-game they told me that Camp Magee (TE - Northwestern) would be Out for the Season but after the game it was like it didn't even happen.

The injury system is seriously weird right now. Not to mention that the other team's offensive line almost always gets 2-3 injuries on the first drive of nearly every game I've played in my second season. I hope they're working on this because Wear and Tear is a cool system but if it causes this much injuries during gameplay, I don't know that it's worth it.

Curious to hear what others think of this and/or their experiences.
