My experience was in dynasty with the latest roster update that EA had out. It is an offline dynasty. Are you doing it offline but inside of an online dynasty?

The game feels more organic and I like that a lot, especially the play in the trenches, but the passing is WAY too easy on both sides.

Out of curiosity, did you do your testing in Dynasty? I did mine in play now and I'm joining the crowd of completions being off the chart with this setup. I'll try them in Dynasty when I get a chance and see if I'm still having the same result. I know that the gameplay differentiates between Play now and Dynasty for whatever strange reason. Never made sense to me.

These definitely made the game play enjoyable on Varsity, very smooth and fluid. Observations from a few test games is the running game is a tad overpowered and coverage somewhat under powered, at least on this level. I made some minor tweaks, run blocking and QB accuracy at 45 both CPU and User, pass coverage and pass reaction at 55 for both CPU and User. Beyond that increased false starts to 75 and made holding 52.

Looking really solid right now, so thank you for working on this. As an example of the variety I played Texas vs Georgia twice in Dynasty. First game Georgia held me to under 10 yards rushing, due largely to sacks and Baxter average 2.8 YPC, lost 28-7. Second game, a 31-13 win Blue broke off a 67 yard TD scamper early and Georgia then struggled to stop my run game, tallied 234 on the ground, both Blue and Baxter 100+. Two of my scores were set up by Georgia fumbles, so I had a short field both times, but really loved the totally different experience with the same two teams.

I imported the latest roster from EA in to my offline Dynasty. I'm not seeing the crazy completion percentages. Seeing it usually between 60 and 70.

That's what I'm seeing. I started an online last night and the percentages were lower for both teams vs the offline dynasties I've tested in..

I also did import active roster for reference

I'm running it CPU vs CPU using offline Dynasty and default rosters. The completion percentages are about 60 to 80%, usually around 70%

Have played nothing but default Heisman since release, and I can say, yes, these settings definitely change gameplay. So “good find” on that front.

However, we’re still very much in the exact same place in terms of asking whether these settings give any kind of objective improvement to the gameplay experience.

I just had four pick-sixes in the first quarter using this setup, for example — you SURE speed threshold goes on 0? You SURE INTs go on 50? You SURE you want DB sub in/out to be at 0/1 if this causes max aggression (doubt)?

Nothing particularly “the best” about any of this, you’re just tweaking stuff around like anyone else.

Gonna stick with my plan to master default Heisman before messing with anything.

Cheers and thanks for sharing though, sincerely.

I don’t actually care about any of this.

I think default Heisman gives boosts to the CPU team players over the User team players, although exactly how much is unknown. For a baseline, default All-American might be what you're looking for.

Pro: He did fix the pass rush. It’s more fun. The OL isn’t just a cement wall while you’re on defense. You do get more time to throw on offense but can still be sacked.

Cons: There is no defense on this set whatsoever. It’s a race to the QB. If you can get to the QB and get a sack, great. Maybe you force a bad throw. If not, WRs are wide open all the time. Running game defense seems to be a bit balanced more heavily to the USER.

                            My observances:
I played 2 games thus far, one on AA and another on Heisman. Both games was in my Kent State dynasty against similar conference opponents. The first game featured zero turnovers whatsoever. It was a shootout 38-34 final with me winning. Both QBs could complete whatever they wanted. 90% completions both ways. Game #2 was even worse. Final score 56-45. I threw for 300 yards (threw for 440 in game 1) and had 2 RBs go for 100 each. I completed 80% of my passes for 3 TDs and 1 INT at the every end of the half Hail Mary. The CPU couldn’t run the ball well at all but they didn’t need to. Their QB completed all but 4 passes for like 89% completions. The 4 incompletions? 1 spike, 2 INTs (one of which was a end of game Hail Mary), and a knock down by my DL.

The set plays fun. I do enjoy running the ball but it plays no defense whatsoever.
Agree with everything. I’m playing Heisman. I’ve played three games with them now. It seems hit or miss whether the defense wants to show up or not. First game was okay. Fresno State vs Colorado State. Dominated them 41-13. CPU QB completion 65%.
Game two. MWCCG against Boise state. Closer game. 27-24 win. CPU QB completion 65%.
Maybe of note: those two games were in the rain. The CPU fumbled 3 times one game. And threw 4 picks in the other game.
Game three. New Mexico Bowl vs Jax State. Close game again. Win 34-31. CPU QB completion 100%!!!!! 33/33 passing. Craziness. They ran no huddle all game and my defense gave up everything. Forced one punt because of a sack.

Also able to do absolutely whatever I wanted in the running game. 490 yards on the ground combined through the three games.

Feel like a possible resolution might be the speed parity slider. Gonna try going back to default and see if that helps make it more difficult on offense and if it will make my defense play a little better. I had a slider set very close to default on Heisman that I was enjoying but it was so easy to get sacks that I kept winning DE of the year award. That set I had the speed parity at 100 and INTs down to 20 to compensate for the tight coverage and the completion %s were great.

                              1. I have no idea how you’re getting sacks on default Heisman. I can’t get anywhere close to the CPU QB.

                              2. Yeah I played another half and quit when QB was 20/20.

                              3. I agree the speed parity is likely the issue. This game already has broken open field separation, adding gas to that fire is likely an issue.

                              4. I’m gonna try your suggestion at the end and see how it goes.
