    Mizzou24s XP Sliders

After upd@ting here’s the underclassmen results the best I could get while keeping things balanced it will get you over 20 every season.

    Year one
    32

    Year 2
    25

    Year 3
    24

    Year 4
    29

    Year 5
    20

    Year 6
    24

    Year 7
    24

    Year 8
    25

Safeties and defensive tackles is really high because they just don’t produce a lot of elite players. You might be asking why the line and the hb and line backers are so low. To the opposite of the spectrum these positions are very inflated. Even at this low range you will see tons of elite players.

The goal is to get more elite players and balance out seniors finishing above 86 overall so we see more underclassmen bounce to the NFL early.

    XP Sliders
    QB: 194
    HB: 70
    TE: 188
    WR: 78
    FB: 100
    OT: 82
    OG: 54
    C: 78

    DE: 110
    DT: 280
    MLB:54
    OLB: 96
    CB: 180
    FS: 300
    SS: 300

    K: 150
    P: 140

Would be curious to know if you’ve seen any impact of this approach in terms of getting players to declare early for the draft at a more consistent clip? Get rid of the glut of 5-year players that bloat all the rosters?

From the tests I’ve been doing I see a lot of juniors declaring for the draft and a couple of sophomores as well it’s still pretty heavy on seniors but I’m seeing a lot more juniors declare.

I like the idea behind these. I'll plug these in my coach dynasty even though I'm about to finish up season two.

here's another data point. In 2024 58 underclassmen declared early for the NFL draft. We should be seeing numbers close to that

When I get home I’ll check my most recent test save to see what we’re at

Would actually playing these games heavily skew these XP numbers? Are these numbers more catered to coaching dynasties is basically what I'm asking. Thanks for your time though!

That shouldn’t matter. Granted if you’re getting more plays than the sim engine your guys might get slightly more benefit.

I was talking about this idea in funkycorm's thread to see if by leaning into the extreme side of bloated mid range ratings that we might be able to re-balance the game and spread out ratings.

I'll def be testing these out in my Colorado dynasty I just restarted.

                      Re: Mizzou24s XP Sliders

So I’ve done quite a few tests now and the most underclassmen I have seen go in a year is 29.

I have made a few final tweaks to the xp sliders. The final analysis on this is you will see almost every position have dominate years. It fluctuates but typically each position will have 5-10 natural 90 overall players a year. A few positions will have over that. The problem positions are the safeties. They are few and far between. Defensive tackles are another one but I think I have got them working slightly better now. With this you will see some sophomores bounce on you. Most definitely juniors. However unfortunately it’s still senior strong but it is better than it was. I will update the front page shortly with the last tweaks I’m going to make until an update hits.

Also to add to this. You won’t see bad team’s gaining insane overall ratings. The ratings actually stay pretty dormant to the strong teams. There are still only a select few teams that even hit 90 overall.

Sounds good. When I posted the 58 number that was how many declared for the draft not how many were actually drafted. I think 29 is good enough. Glad you got this rolling.

There’s a bug with most of the team overalls not up****** at the moment - are you aware of this? The work around this by taking control over that coach and retiring control. It will update after that.

I do this for every team every offseason.

That’s odd. It’s almost every team for me — and it seems to be affecting a lot of other users too. A user on Reddit discovered the bug and the workaround, so I’ve been spending about a couple of hours every off-season up****** it since.
