Re: Playmakers All American Advanced Difficulty Sliders

Kickoff Power on 100 seems a bit high. I am sending the ball into the stands every kickoff. I have to sky kick and reduce power if I want to force a return in which the CPU gets the ball at the 15-20 on most cases.

I do like the new CPU Run block settings. As Stanford, I got rolled all over by Syracuse in the run game last night. First few runs were stuffs and I thought "Okay, maybe this isn't it." The RB finished with 150+ yards and had multiple 20+ yard runs, one was a 50 yard touchdown.

Only other thing I'm noticing post update - My pass protection is dog water. Maybe I need more quick passes or more fake snaps? But my QB last night was horrendous. Multiple sacks, multiple fumbles in the pocket. I was pulling my hair out!

Last thing - is All-22 on offense / player locker on defense not the way anymore? They did something with the Passing Cam on All-22 where it's now so far back, I have to almost squint to see the players. Player lock on defense (I control DL) and I get demolished.

Could just be that Stanford isn't very good and I need to prep for getting rick rolled for a while

    Thanks again PM.

I think the Kickoff Power to 100 is on purpose---the CPU return ability is simply non existent. They cannot ever return more than 5-10 yards, ever. So if you have normal kicks down near the goal line, the incompetent CPU is constantly taking over on like their own 10-15 yard line. It's so inept.

It's not ideal, but better to give a slightly more realistic (and challenging) starting position each time vs. always having them start at their 12 yard line.

          Kick off should be 75

I put in my CPU vs CPU settings by mistake

I'd make these adjustments for yourself
          Pass Block 50
          QBA 10

          Using wide camera

Best sets on this forum so far, I think QBA needs to be atleast 25 if you like revamped. Throwing any type of hard ball is always red, other than that I love these. I tried classic at 5 with a 91 OVR QB and every long throw was over thrown. 2 out of 10 maybe were on point. CPU run game a little strong at 95 but Im also playing a lot of Nickel with weak linebackers on my team. So don't have a lot in the box. May need to find a counter to good run game

NVM 25 was too easy, trying 20

                  Just a heads up

The base set QBA is just for Classic Passing

Revamp was recommended at 10 but feel free to find a setting that fits your skill level.

Also we bumped down Run Block to 90

As you mentioned at 95 the CPU run game would be on Heisman level very difficult to stop

I'm using Revamped with QBA at 10, and I can't hit a deep pass. I think I connected on 1/8 my last game. They're almost always overthrown, and I don't know what's causing it, because the QBA seems pretty good for any other route, but for some reason I can't throw the Go route almost ever, even when my receiver has a huge gap, because it's always overthrown.

Id up it by 5 until you feel some connec and some overthrown. I do like sometimes when its overthrown, adding realism

I'd probably recommend or suggest QBA 20 for right now.

And if things settle down later or become to easy then slowly reduce the QBA down some more.

Ok fellas I cleaned up the front page

The base set listed is what I'm rolling with for now.

I personally use pass block at 45, WR Catch 45 & QBA 5 because I like the grind of generating an offense. I'll be playing with North Texas in Dynasty mode so those settings will make sure my team doesn't play above it's ratings.

To cut down on confusion based on your skill level you can utilize QBA ranging from 5 to 20 on this set. 20 might actually be a little too high especially if you keep WR catch at 50.

The base setting definetly won't be for everyone especially if you like to air it. I prefer a more ball control attack where I'm not throwing as much.

Running the ball admittedly at times will be tough especially since EA updated the pursuit. So I'm going to stress if you can't find any running lanes do not force yourself to play with my blocking sliders set at 10. You can adjust it anywhere from 5 to 20 much like QBA

If the CPU is dominating you on the ground lower their Run block slider. Again I prefer the stiffer challenge of stopping the run.

The Pass Coverage settings are only a base foundation that I provide to assure that neither side is turning into ROBO QB. If you prefer a lower Coverage slider to open up the passing game by all means feel free to adjust.

Special teams is still a work in progress so those settings will mostly likely change after I get about 4-6 weeks into my Dynasty now.

Yeah, I'll try that. It sucks because I like how the rest of the routes are thrown, it only seems to be a problem on the Deep Ball. Which I don't mind overthrows, but I feel like they're happening at too high of a rate. I'll try pumping it up to 20 though and seeing if it makes the rest too good or not.
