Are you currently trying to match real life, or simmed dynasty games?

I'm just curious for those working on sliders right now, what is most important to you from a stats perspective. Replicating real world college football, or replicating the dynasty simulated stats?

I'm torn myself when making adjustments and want to know where everyone else stands on this.

I think the best way to approach sliders is to get the overall feel of said sport which in this case College Football. Basing sliders off purely just stats can cause a lot of slideritis to kick in because you’re expecting every game to play the same based on averaged out stats for a FULL COMPLETE SEASON from the previous year. I think the goal should be to create a great feel and let the playcalling, players, and schemes determine the outcomes.

Watched the FSU/GT game and if that exact game played out in the game slideritis would’ve went into full effect.

For sure not wanting to make adjustments based off of one game or so. Representing on the field looking like the game is the most important to me. I just really don't like the immersion breaking of stats from my games being noticeably different than all the simulated games. I'm still enjoying the gameplay enough that I don't mind it so much, but having a RB with 1400 yards (which is realistic for college football) leading the country in rushing every season (which shouldn't even be close to the top in the country) is fairly immersion breaking but it's impossible to prevent that without forcing myself to just stop giving a guy a realistic number of carries.

For Dynasty Mode (CPU vs CPU) I try to match Simulated Games Stats with the Sliders I use. Thus far 10 minute quarters with 18 or 19 second accelerated clockseems to get me fairly close to the 55+ average plays per game the Simulation produces.

Then I try to match other average Stats to Real Life Stats such as Yards Per Carry; QB Completion %, 3rd Down %, FG % & Punt Avg Yardage (Punt Sliders don't seem to matter).

For other Stats such as Rush Yards, Pass Yards, Fumbles, Interceptions, Pass Drops, Penalties & Sacks I try to match what the reduced # of Plays per game would result in compared to Real Life Stats ..... thus around 91% of Real Life Stats.

I use a 25 game slate prior to making any slider adjustments.

My friends and I just started an online dynasty using your sliders for CPU vs CPU. I appreciate all the work and testing you put in to them.

I intend on watching most of the major games in my dynasty once the next patch is released. I've been trying to sim realistic stats somewhat, but the kick returns and excessive tfl's really irk me.

The worst part about kick returns is the kickoff power slider seems to not matter at all for CPU vs CPU games.
