I've done some testing and sadly I report that it does not matter for CPU QB ACC if its at 100 or 0. cpu teams vs cpu teams still get the same amount of 65-45.

This is very dumb. I have some other words I'd love to use but in all reality the only thing sliders do is for when u play the cpu. Very Sad

I didn't even look at all his stats. After doing it now, he's my favorite player...dude can even f'ing kick!!

probably a created WR recruit. Obviously no computer team is going to try and get him if he has no skills at the position. sounds like something my little brother would do.

It's been a long 4 year journey, but my Jags have finally broke into the top 25! Playing against our rival, the Troy Trojans in a neutral site game in Cowboys Stadium. Fitting field for our debut in the top 25.

My coaching Journey: Year 1 OC at Tulane
              Midseason update:

So far it's been quite a season for the Tulane Green Wave who at the midway point of the 2013 season are 4-2(1-1). Here are the results thus far:

              @ #12 LSU W 26-17
              vs S. Alabama W 45-20
              @ Louisiana Tech L 33-50
              @ Syracuse L 10-24
vs UL Monroe W 45-38 (OT)
              vs N. Texas W 34-14

Tulane's win over LSU was their first against the Tigers since 1982!

After starting the season 2-0, Tulane QB Nate Montana struggled mightily throwing only 2 TDs and 9 INTs in games against Lousiana Tech and Syracuse both losses. Just as talks of a QB controversy started to heat up the junior QB overcame adversity and led the Green Wave in an OT win over UL-Monroe. The very next week junior RB Orleans Darkwa would put a show on of his own! He carried the ball 33 times rushing for 267 yards and 3 TDs against North Texas!

So with 6 games to go Tulane has a very good shot at a bowl game and a C-USA title!

Believe what you want...I know he most certainly wasn't a created recruit. Like I said, I was just as shocked as you all are. And once again, it has to be a glitch or a bug or something because of the 0s at key skills.

I believe ya. And even if it is a glitch I think it's pretty cool. It actually seems kind of realistic, as some guys do change to positions better suited for them in real life.

Re: How is your dynasty going

Thinking about choosing a new dynasty. I previously ran with Tulane because of Nick Montana but benched him for a Freshman who could run. I'm thinking about giving SJSU a go since they are 1*. Have you guys seen much with them? I don't want a team that's been overplayed. Other suggestions are welcome, but I'm leaning towards an Air Raid with a non mobile QB so I can't abuse the Read Option. If I didn't make it clear earlier I want it to be a 1* team.

                    Thanks guys

I only say that because I have never once seen any recruit or player have 1 stat be 0..let alone all from one category. I have however seen my brother create a recruit and jack all his stats up except for a few key stats (lets say you make a QB recruit but have 0 tp 0 ta..but make all defensive stats 99) obviously the CPU wont go after him because he can't throw. You sign the recruit and put him on defense, he will be a beast. Not once have I seen a glitch like this or even heard of one like it.

Well I haven't seen anything like it either, hence why it was weird to me. I mean, I do live in a house with other people, it's entirely possible one of my roommates did it to mess with me while I was in the restroom or something. I just doubt it, because I coulda sworn I was home alone when advancing past that screen with creating prospects.

I just know that I didn't do it or know about it. If I did know, I probably wouldn't have recruited him. Creating prospects like that goes against what I'm trying to do in challenge myself to build up a program, also makes it feel so wrong to have him. Which is why I don't even wanna think about that possibility.

I'm not denying the fishiness of everything man, I'm right there with ya. But at this point, I'm just gonna play the game and not worry about it.

Back to relevant dynasty news: my Eagles moved up to #23 after defeating Georgia Tech and marched into Central Michigan on a mission. Freshman QB Yordain Stewart had a rough day, throwing a pair of interceptions and lone touchdown pass. But it was enough behind the leg of Dylan Mulder and a rushing TD from Gibson to lead us past our rival 20-10. I played this game late at night, and didn't feel like pictures and such. But it was a hard fought, tough win for the Eagles. Now we play Army next, which should be another win for Eastern.

The UAB Blazers traveled to Huntington, WV to take on the Thundering Herd of Marshall. The Blazers entered the game on the heals of an upset lose the week before to the Blue Raiders of MTSU. To ensure they remained at the top of the C-USA East division UAB need the victory. The Blazers controlled the first half thanks to the play of Sophomore(RS) QB Austin Brown who led his team on four scoring drives including 2tds and 2 field goals. Marshall was able to turn a 2nd quarter int by Brown into 6 points. Marshall’s coach, Doc Holliday, must have inspired his team in the locker room at halftime because they came out in the 2nd half a different team. A 3rd quarter int, 2nd of the game, by Austin Brown resulted in another td drive by Marshall QB Rakeem Cato and company. Marshall continued to apply pressure in the 4th by tying the game up with :44 second to go in the game. Brown marched the Blazers down field with 2 big plays to Senior(RS) WR #44 Acorye White but failed to get the ball in the end zone settling for a 26yd field goal by K #2 Ty Long. Cato was able to get the ball back with :06 seconds, time for one last play. Cato unleashed a bomb that found WR #33 Devon Smith for a 68yd touchdown as the clock hit all zeros. Game over, Marshall wins on what should have been a batted ball by the Blazer defense. After the game Blazers Head Coach, Garrick McGee had this to say…

This may have been the hardest lose I have ever been a part of . We had guys out there fighting to get us a win but poor coaching failed them. You have to make sure your guys know to play deeper and not let anyone by you in a situation like that. All day long we allowed the Smith kid to play like Randy Moss but we failed to make adjustments. We had guys like Austin Brown doing all he could to get us a win. We knew coming into the season he might threw some pick since he is still young and learning how to play quarterback. We also knew we had to be able to over come those mistakes. He overcome them by getting us three scores. That last drive Coach McDaniel called some nice plays and Brown got us in position to win the game. We have done better this season then most people thought we would have done but that is not enough. We wanted to do something special for these seniors who have been here during all the hard times. They put in the work so now we have to finish the season for them so we can reward them with a Bowl game. We have to play better defense then we have the last two weeks plain and simple.

Finally cracking the top 20, I go into my bowl game vs Western Kentucky. New Orleans Bowl about to begin! If I get the W, I will be the highest ranked team in the state of Alabama, as Alabama and Auburn both lost there bowl games.

Well I started a dynasty yesterday with FAU as the head coach. I play 6 minute quarters on AA. I already finished the first season quickly because I want to start getting my recruits onto the field so ill summarize it. Started out 0-2 played Miami close but in the end I couldn't contain them and the next week I lost a heartbreaker to ECU. After that the owls went on a tear and finished the regular season 9-3 and won the eastern division of c-usa. After defeating heavily favored tulsa in the conference championship we received a bid to the Autozone liberty bowl against missouri. I started out dominating them but in the second half they out scored us 22-10. They were up 29-28 with 31 seconds left but FAU got their senior kicker into range and even though he was iced he nailed the game winning field goal. My recruiting class was pretty low ranked but I was able to find some very good recruits and also received a redshirted freshmen linebacker from Florida State who currently starts for me. I started the second season today. I simmed the game against nebraska (couldn't play against the team i cheer for) and we lost 34-24. However, the next week we traveled to Alabama to take on the Crimson Tide. Coming off a national championship and with a number one ranking i knew this wouldnt be easy. But my players were up to a challenge and were able to upset #1 Alabama 28-21. So FAU sits at 1-1 and ranked 27 in the nation. Sorry for this long yet somehow very little detail filled post but just rying to get everyone up to speed haha.

The Blazers packed a lot of gear for the trip to Greenville, NC but they forgot to pack their D. After last weeks heart breaking lose to Marshall with Coach McGee calling out the defense and DC Reggie Johnson, the defense had one of the worst performances every witnessed by man. The DB’s allowed one man to rack up 243yds all on his own. I’m not sure what the game plan was coming in but if it was to not cover Webster then someone should be fired. On a brighter note, this game did feature 2 quarterbacks who passed for over 500yds each. Austin Brown must have felt the need to score on each drive because he made some mistakes out there he had not made all season. A lack of a running game only added to the pressure placed on Brown. Coach McDaniel said “Austin played as well as he could with the pressure of having to score points and zero help form our backs and O-line.” This makes 3 games in a row that the Blazers have lost and almost certainly ending any hope of a C-USA East regular season title. Next week the Blazers will be at home against the Rice Owls for “Senior Day.”
