Leaning more towards NC due to more unis selection.

Haha, Rice's unis aren't the greatest. So is their stadium, which is why I didn't pick them.

UNC's not a bad choice. If you want to go long-term. I'm thinking of building Tulane into ACC form so I can move them there & play other high-academic schools like UNC, UVA and Duke. I'd go with the Heels.

          Atlanta, Ga
After being hired to coach the panthers, Terry Skinner had this to say, "I love the university and i'm proud to be a part of a new era of GSU athletics. This team has lots of talent and i'm ready to see how far it will go." Excitment is high for the young program.

            Coaching career of Scot Loeffler

After spending 8 seasons at VT for the shoe in job of what he thought would be his. While at VT the team won 1 BCS title and 0 ACC titles He saw that dream job of being the head coach at VT slip away when it was given to Bud Foster. When the end of the season hit. He got calls from some of the top programs. Scot was looking for somewhere to install his Flex-Sweep offense.

After waiting for that one shot to play with the big boys. Iowa State called and Scot took what he thought would be a good start. Well he was wrong, dead wrong! After hitting the practice field installing his offense. Scot dream turned into a nightmare. After a 1-12 season Iowa State showed Scot the door and now Scot is without a job. (ya Iowa St. sucked that bad. I was getting killed playing the games and simmed the rested and got crushed).

After waiting for offers, Scot looked them over and saw that the Memphis Tigers came a calling in the America Confernce with a 2-10 record. Scot jumped on it starting to go to work install his offense that won him a BCS Title at VT. While at Memphis, Scot has posted a 7-5 record so far and getting his team ready to play their last game of the season vs SMU. Memphis is projected to go bowling. We shell see what bowl they are going to when bowl season comes. Scot is hoping one day to put on that VT hat again as their HC.

GSU Drops Season Opener 29-10 in Coach Terry Skinner's Debut
The Panthers had their moments in this game but Connecticut was in control for the most part. The offense looked good at times but was not able to establish the ground game enough. The defense showed the meaning of "bend but not break" as they allowed UCONN to drive up and down the field but forced them to kick 5 field goals. Hopefully, the Panthers can focus on what they did well and display that next Saturday against FCS Southeast.

So, I'm going to run through and create my brother as a wide receiver and we're going to both commit to UNLV to "turn the program around". Once I'm finished running through high school with him and getting his stats, I'll probably put together a thread in the Dynasty HQ area.

Re: How is your dynasty going

Just figured I'd give a pretty generic account of what I've done in my dynasty over the past few months.

Started as the HC of Georgia State. Had a really good year going 8-4 with a signature win at West Virginia.

Apparently my first year in Atlanta caught to eye of Oregon after Scott Frost left to be the head coach at NC State, and I pretty much had to take the OC job for the Ducks when they offered—given that they're my alma mater and all. So I spent year two commanding Mariota and company to a national championship. It was all very routine.

In the off-season Texas came calling with the OC job. I couldn't pass up the chance to take a job at an iconic college football power like the Horns, and so I spent season three there. We went 12-1, and won the Fiesta Bowl. Pretty fun, but the coordinator gig was getting a bit lame.

UCF offered me a chance to be a head coach again, and it was the best offer I had. Luckily they had signed a 5 star athlete, Alex Nash, in their recruiting class before I'd even signed on, and he ended up a stud RB/receiving threat out of the back field—but also a guy with a good deal of power as well (6'2" 235lbs). Went 10-2 at UCF, and had a really solid recruiting class.

I was planning on staying at UCF, and seeing Nash through his career, but David Shaw apparently ran Stanford into the ground and they came calling. I just had to take the job. They were still a 5 star school.

First season at Stanford I went 10-2. Tremendous wins against #1 Oregon, #5 USC, #7 Notre Dame, #4 Cal, and #3 Arizona in the Pac-12 Championship Game. Surprisingly I lost badly to both Washington St, and Oregon St.

Ended up winning the Rose Bowl against Illinois (!!!) after a 24 point second half comeback.

I'm finally in my second year with the same school, continuing as the head coach of Stanford, loaded with talent, and stacked on defense.

A bit of a hilarious occurence: my OC got hired by Penn St to be their HC, and we hired recently fired from Arkansas, Brett Bielema to be our OC. The nice thing is, he's pretty damn good on account of his coaching level.

This is the dynasty where I am playing every game using the http://www.operationsports.com/forum...s-sliders.html.
Most likely I will just post results in story format instead of the norm end of the year box score stats. I might toss some real stats in here and there from time to time.

Oh yeah it was bad. I'm actually suprised they didn't fix stuff like that from happening.

13-0 (9-0) headed into a BCS National Championship Game match-up with Kansas State in 2024. It was one helluva conference championship week to say the least.

                                #1 Ohio State - beat #10 Nebraska 63-31
                                #2 Oregon - Lost to USC 35-28
#3 Oklahoma State - Lost to #6 Kansas State 38-34
#4 North Carolina - Lost to Florida State 34-29

Meaning, 2-4 all lost, so Kansas State jumped #5 Georgia Tech to face me in the title game. They aren't very good (B- overall, C+ offense, B- Defense), so needless to say I'm not too worried about this one.
