6 NC State vs 14 Miami

1st drive they come out in a Georgia Tech type option attack. I went with 3 different plays to stop it and they got 5 to 15 yards on all 3, got some good positioning on the 4th and decided to stick with it but they were already in scoring range and went up 3-0. We test their run defense first as usual and get a good run with 12 personnel(2 TEs) so we keep that going and end up in the endzone. 7-3 Canes. Nobody else scored the rest of the half, we had 2 redzone chances but threw interceptions.

2nd half it looks about the same but we hit a deep pass and go up 14-3. Im thinking we got them figured out but they score the next play with a FB dive right up the middle. 14-10. We score again and Im still not worried but they get another long td run. 21-16 and I think theyre kicking the XP so I go grab a bag of fruit snacks from the kitchen, they go for 2 and get it [emoji58]. 21-18. At this point its the 4th and Im calculating the time and playing the numbers in my head once that 3 minute mark hits. We get to 4th down and 1 in fg range and Im thinking "if I fg theyll go for the td, defense been playing great besides 2 plays, but blown coverages are common, but if I dont get the conversion they'll probably focus on fg range and take it to OT. I get the conversion and kill some time before Smiley gets in the endzone again. 4:30 minute drive overall. They dont score, Canes are the ACC Champs, hoping we keep the program going up.

OSU and Nebraska were in OT tied at 35 so Arch will either play OSU or ND

1 LSU 12-1 (10-0) vs 2 OHIO STATE (8-1)
- The stage is set and fortunately for college football fans around the country the committee got this one right. I expect to see the 2 best teams in the country playing in this year's National Championship. LSU was the Rivals pick to win the title in the preseason even with the addition of a new staff because this team was just built for a title run. The old adage is "history repeats itself" and this years run for LSU has been almost identical to the 2019 run with Ed O and Joe Burrow. This explosive offense over night along with a Heisman winner in Desi Culp has me convinced the championship will go in favor of the Tigers. Ohio State would love to rewrite the ending to this Cinderella story but that shoe is a perfect fit so far. Looking at the numbers these teams are 2 and 3 in ppg with OSU ahead, and 3 and 4 in total offense with LSU ahead, LSU has Culp at RB who has 28 tds and 1800 yds on the ground, and Ohio State has Hoying at QB who has 40tds to only 6ints and 3300yds in the air. These are 2 of the most dominant teams in the country with both teams dropping one game in upsets to UCLA and Michigan St. I think Ohio State will show up and give Ohio State an early scare because their run game is so underrated, but Im not betting against this LSU team.

Prediction: LSU 38 Ohio State 31



🟢 SUGAR BOWL
3 NOTRE DAME 11-1 vs 7 COLORADO 12-1(8-1)
- This is the best matchup outside of the natty because both of these teams were 1 game away from being in the natty. If there was a playoff with a consolation game this would be the match. I give the edge to Notre Dame because although Colorado had a great year I think that Irish offense is the only other team I wanted to see face LSU. Irish over the Buffs.



🟢 ROSE BOWL
4 TEXAS A&M 9-2(7-2) vs 9 UCLA 10-3(8-2)
- Texas A&M at 4 is high to me, but theyll have a great matchup to prove it. UCLA was not expected to be here but they have been playing great ball this year and rewarded Coach Boogie for turning down that offer in the off-season with his first conference title and potentially his first conference title. I think A&M will come out firing on offense so Im predicting a 10 point win for the Aggies.



🟡 FIESTA BOWL
6 MICHIGAN 10-2(7-1) vs BOSTON COLLEGE 10-2(7-2)
- Boston College had a great season but I dont think they are built for a team like Michigan and they didnt play anybody this year that has me convinced they can win a game like this. Michigan was #1 for a while this year, they are a legit top 5 team and I think theyll prove just how big of a gap there is between the 2 programs. Michigan by 7.

8 MIAMI 9-4(8-2) vs W KENTUCKY 11-2(8-1)
- Easily the most lobsided matchup in the group and I have no idea why the committee elected for WKU over a team like #5 Georgia who wouldve been a perfect matchup for this Canes team that has been rolling since the middle of the year when they started the gun slinger and opened up the offense. If this game goes 4 quarters I'll be more surprised than anybody. Canes big.

We got the ball first and moved down the field pretty easy through the air and scored a td. OSU first drive of the game, we had them in a couple 3rd and longs but they would tie the game at 7. End of the 1st quarter the score was 10-7, LSU. 2nd quarter we score 2 td's and the defense held OSU to 2 fg's. Halftime score 24-13, LSU. Start of 3rd quarter, OSU got the ball and we forced them to punt. On our first drive of the quarter Culp gets knocked out of the game and I think we punted. We would go on to score 2 td's and OSU scored 1 td in the quarter. In the 4th we had a goal line stand on one drive that resulted in a turnover on downs and on another OSU drive, we forced a fumble. LSU wins the Natty beating OSU, 48-20.

Terrible ball placement on good passes on the handful of screens I couldn’t get a pick ( wouldnt let me put my hands up) an kept breaking tackles

Lowkey surprised by both of these scores.. I thought OSU would at least fight back but I also thought UCLA would go down to the 4th.. Felt like the settings either were easier lately or we just figured them out plus we all have good teams [emoji848] Gotta see how mine plays out tonight
