    RIVALS LAST RUN 2035-2036

    ***** COACHES

    • Create a coach, make the Alma Mater a school you want

    • Postseason: Any players that want to transfer or leave early cannot be swayed

    • All skill trees are the same

    ****** RECRUITING

    - Any one who has you top 10 can be recruited
    - No Athletes
    - Only true freshman can be redshirted

    ***** GENERAL IN-GAME RULES

    - MIX UP YOUR PLAYBOOK ON OFFENSE.. play calling should be more like the NFL than NCAA, dont be TOO repetitious
    [emoji3588] - if you have a specific passing attack (short quick passes, attacking a specific defender, etc) just try and vary the formations/plays but you can use a strategic attack
    [emoji3588] - Running a simple handoff is fine even if it's repetitive (ex big back just runs dives, small back just runs tosses)

    ***** BANNED ON OFFENSE

    - shotgun flex runs up the middle, if your pb has alot of shotgun flex formations switch it
    - no read options
    - oline shifts
    - no pass plays with 3 guys running the same route

    ***** BANNED ON DEFENSE

    - dlinemen standing up
    - run commit
    - 1-5-5
    - manually moving more than 1 player

    ***** PRESNAP OFFENSE

    • No hot routes (RB/TE to block is ok)
    • Pass plays cannot have 3 players running the same route (hail mary's ok)
    • No Read Option
    • No Shotgun Offset runs

    ***** PRESNAP DEFENSE

    • only MANUALLY move 1 player presnap
    • no nano blitzes

    ***** 4TH DOWN RULE (NO EXCEPTIONS)

    [emoji3588] a) Inside the 35 you can go for it
    b) No limit if you're down in the 4th quarter (late 3rd if its realistic) OR DOWN 21+ AT ANYTIME

    ***** QB RUNNING

    • You can take off as much as you want just make sure it looks real

    ***** SPECIAL TEAMS

    - Kickers CAN NOT punt, punters CAN NOT kick fgs or kick off
    [emoji3588] - You can NOT switch them in position changes
    [emoji3588] - Kick returns allowed from endzone if cpu starts the run

    • ingame coaching strategies allowed
    • Chew Clock must be 3minutes or less
    • Aggressive Clock banned
    • You can run a slow paced offense but dont milk the clock throughout the game

    ***** ADVANCES

    •Advances will be set for every Thursday Night, and every Sunday Night. Play the games you feel like playing

    •You can sim any game you want (NO SUPER SIMMING), if the advance day comes up and really havent had time to play but want to I will extend the deadline.

    •I expect User games to at least START getting scheduled THE DAY OF or before advance day.. if one player tries to schedule it and the other waits too long they will be put on auto

    ***** THREAD

    • POST THE "GAME STATS" BOX SCORE EVERY WEEK

    RIVALS LAST RUN 2035-2036

    SCHEDULE RELEASE

    #2 MIAMI
    * Last season 10-3
    * Projection 11-1
    Impact Player: JR RB Jamey McKinney
    * McKinney filled in for Brown 2 years ago after an injury and had explosive plays nearly every week. His role decreased last season but this is his year to be the guy and fill the shoes permanently. Canes will lean on him heavily to help Murphy.
    2 - FIU
    3 - #3 LSU
    4 - @ Florida St
    5 - @ #20 Ohio St

    13 - @ North Carolina
    14 - PITTSBURGH

    #3 LSU
    * Last season 12-2
    * Projection 11-1
    Impact Player: SR QB Glenn Cook
    * Cook has been one of the top 5 passers in each of the last 3 seasons. He has taken the Tigers to the Championship twice but came up short once against Miami. This year LSU needs him to have his best season and get them back to the Natty.
    1 - @ Texas Tech
    2 - @ #14 Tennessee
    3 - @ #2 Miami
    4 - GEORGIA

    13 - #8 AUBURN
    14 - @ #13 Arkansas

    #20 OHIO STATE
    * Last season 8-5
    * Projection 8-4
    Impact Player: SO FS Akeem Wilson
    * Ohio State is a run first team and will lean heavy on managing the clock with their tandem at RB. That means alot of close games late and Wilson is a guy theyll use in a do it all type role defensively to roam and be their ball hawk on key downs.
    1 - @ #24 Washington

    #24 WASHINGTON
    * Last season 7-5
    * Projection 8-4
    Impact Player: JR QB Johnathan Mansfield
    * Washington hired Breezy mid season and he was able to get some positive momentum heading into the offseason. This year I expect to see a much more aggressive pass heavy type offense where Mansfield's leadership will be key:
    1 - #20 Ohio St
    2 - #9 NEBRASKA
    3 - USC
    4 - @ Texas Tech
    6 - @ Utah
    7 - #23 STANFORD

    9 - @ Cal
    10- #6 SAN DIEGO ST
    12 - @ Oregon St
    13 - OREGON
    14 - @ Washington St

    TEXAS TECH
    * Last season 2-10
    * Projection 4-8
    Impact Player: SR MLB Mike Price
    * Tech won 2 games under first year head coach J Boogie but he expects to find his groove in year 2. The offense found their identity towards the end but the playmaker on this team is Price. Price is the leading returner in solo tackles in all of college football, the kid can play.

        Re: RIVALS LAST RUN 2035-2036

        Cook may not even start this year tbh. That's why I wanted him to leave early. My rs Fr Qb has the best arm of any Qb I've had since MSU. Should be a interesting year, no matter who starts at Qb. Got a new Rb, only have 1 wr who has any real playing and got 2 Fr starting at that position and my oline isn't that great after losing a couple of guys. Junior, why tf do you have 7 Qb's?

          I got you going 8-4, if you don't throw a ton of int's.

            That’s a normal season over here for me [emoji23] if I won the right games then that’ll still put me going to the pac-12 title. I’ll take that every year

              [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] 12 has the best arm, was supposed to be the guy when nobody else had experience but he blew it.. only a 3 star

              14 got the next chance but he's a runner not a passer, blew his chance too

              11 has been the guy ever since, locked the spot out of the 3 and never lost it

              16 is the young buck, hasnt played at all yet

              last 3 all just got here.. theyll battle it out next year when the old heads leave.. All 3 were top 5, didnt know which one I wanted so I went with all 3 expecting somebody to take 1 and I keep 2 but nobody went for them

                Im betting on Cook to be the starter at the end of the year whether you bench him now or not.. He has the most carries Ive ever seen you with so his speed is going to be the difference in PT when the youngin gets pressured

                    He doesn't have that many carries really. Probably averages only 2 or 3 legit carries a game. Plus you know I prefer guys with cannons and the freshman has some speed too.

                            [emoji91] 24 WASHINGTON vs 20 OHIO STATE [emoji91]

                            College football is officially back and College Gameday will be in Washington to see 2 great coaches attempt to start their seasons with fireworks. Both team have a clear identity coming into the season with Washington wanting to methodically move the ball in the air, and the Buckeyes want to methodically move the ball on the ground. For that reason I expect an extremely physical, close, 4 quarter game. Washington will need to make the Buckeyes get out of their gameplan and try and rattle this Buckeye offense with that home crowd. They'll need to make plays early and get that lead and crowd on their side. OSU is no where near as effective when you make them 1 dimensional. For the Buckeyes defense to make this game easier on themselves they'll need to depend more on their defense than their offense. They need to confuse Mansfield and force him into 1 or 2 turnovers. If OSU can win the turnover battle this game can begin to tilt their way.

                            Pre: OSU 24 WASH 20

                              For the passing rule change I considered I weighed the pros and cons for both and just never was 100% set so Im leaving it for now. Might change my mind but I dont want to mess up a good thing by guessing.

                              I put Arch on auto last night and played with Texas Tech twice running 5 wide the whole game to try it in a game setting, I had 500+ of yards and big plays both games but LSU still forced turnovers. Didnt get to see how much different that would look with a loaded team but I lost both

                              As of now these are the rule changes (so to speak)
                              1 4th down rule is a little different: inside the 35 no matter the score, down in 4th qtr or down "big" before the 4th is fair game (no set number, you'll know)

                              2 QBs can move 100% freely. Aaron Rogers ball, Lamar ball, Kyler Murray ball, Mahomes ball, whatever. Your ints are on you now

                              3 You can return any kick from the front half of the endzone
