Tulane gets the ball and on their 2nd play, they throw a pick. We score a td. Tulane's 2nd drive, they throw another pick. We score a td again. Tulane finally gets a drive going and scores a td. Right before the end of the 1st quarter, Jenkins hits Worthy for a 62yd td pass. 2nd quarter Tulane scores 10 points and we go scoreless after taking back to back sacks on one drive, then our Rb fumble going in for a td on another drive. Halftime score 21-17, Texas. 3rd quarter we scored 14 points and Tulane scored 7. Rest of the game was us basically trading punts back and forth. We picked of their Qb again sometime in the 2nd half too. I'm honestly not sure how the team is going to look next year. Jenkins should go pro, Worthy and my number 2 wr are leaving, losing my two best OL and losing a bunch on the defensive side too. Texas beats Tulane, 35-24.

Pregame:
Leading up to the big game there were alot of questions revolving around which QB SHOULD start even though no statement from the staff had ever been made. Prior to the B12 Championship the Texas staff made a statement about Malone's interceptions that made its way through the national media. Malone had a horrible game throwing 6 ints but made the big plays at the end that won the game. The conversation indoors was to make sure we had the right guy for Syracuse. We even considered a 2 QB start, but looking back over the year we decided to stick with the guy who had not lost.

1st
Pouring rain in Miami told me EA would be present but we had no time for excuses. OU loses the toss and starts with the ball. Cuse's defense was everywhere but we moved it down and Malone hit Holt on a post for a 7-0 lead. Cuse first run of the game their oline had every player on lock and Hough turned the corner for a 30 yard run. Same drive a busted coverage ties the game at 7. Sooners go 3 & out and Cuse goes the opposite way for a 70 yard speed option with no OU defenders in position. 14-7 Cuse. OU has another long drive but Malone throws a flag route in the redzone and a LB picks it off at LOS.

2nd
Cuse dominated both sides of the ball but wasnt able to extend the lead. Broken tackles, no pass rush, blown coverages, bad angles, the OU defense was non existent outside of some blitzes that stuffed the Cuse option offense. Up 14-7 Cuse was in scoring range but Washington picked off a double slant. Murphy was the life of the offense but whenever the ball went in the air it was trouble. Cuse got in fg range to end the half but came up just short. 14-7 Cuse.

3rd
Syracuse gets the ball first but can't extend the lead. OU gets it and goes back to Murphy but on a 3rd and long Malone is picked off on a post route. Cuse comes up empty again and OU finally gets some offense going with a short pass to Murphy that went for 25 yards and soon after a deep pass to Greene in the endzone to tie the game at 14.

4th
OU got going on the ground again and got the ball inside the 10. Ball the TE dropped a wide open td pass then Watkins dropped the next to passes at the goalline so OU settled for 3 instead of 7. 17-14 OU. Syracuse with everything banking on this drive moves it down with almost no resistance and Markiewicz scores on a speed option keeper untouched. 21-17 Cuse. With under 2 minutes OU needs Malone to save the day again. Murphy starts the drive with a loss and a 3 yard run so Malone has 3rd and long and throws a dot to the TE on the backside getting OU in the redzone. Murphy gets hurt so its on Malone. With 0:08 left Malone hits Watkins for the go ahead td. 24-21 OU. With 8 seconds left Cuse sends 4 guys deep and OUs CB lets him catch the ball in fg range with 3 seconds left. Cuse ties it with a fg. OT

OT
Cuse wins the toss again and sends OU out first. Sooners go to Murphy to start and both offensive tackles run backwards into each other letting the ends hit Murphy. 3 plays OU is faced with a 4th and 2.. they take the fg. Cuse gets the ball and is inside the 3 in 3 plays. OU gets them to go backwards on a run and a screen. 3rd and Goal and a td wins t. Markiewicz drops back, no pressure, he stands for 5 seconds and the CB covering the outside WR who ran a stop, runs 3 yards in front of him forcing him to the endzone where no help is. Mf sold the game. Cuse pulls the upset.

Cuse had one turnover and that was a user pick across the middle. We didnt make any plays that werent wide open or untouched and even then we found ways to lose. This one sucks but my team had no business being here so I have to lock in and bounce back next year. Arch stole the QB I wanted, he wouldve started day 1 next year. As long as Watkins and Murphy are back we'll make another run but I have to get the rest of my team to step up

Me and Breezy been talking trash for 10 hours today.... not sure how somebody whos never beat me can fix his lips to say we the same because I lost the natty but Ima let him cook

Also I was going through the old Rivals threads trying to find the screenshot of when I beat him 42-7 and this really is the best league ever lol.. alot of history here

In my scrolling to cook Breezy I also found out that Syracuse EA's me everytime I play them no matter what their roster looks like lol.. they actually made me quit the league at least once

I wish I had Breezy in the Natty smh

Its a little weird if you've never seen it but it's basically an updated platform from OS. Some guy showed me it because he's setting up his group for the new college football game when it comes out. Ive looked at and it should give us everything that OS has plus videos so we may not need the Rivals IG anymore depending on how long the videos can be. We'll try it for the offseason and if we dont like it we can pick back up in OS
