Also, it helps keep wr from beating safeties every play, more like 1-2 times out of ten! This really helps avoid cheating with verts and huge holes in zones. It doesn't take away from player ratings (tested by mkharsh and playmakers) and hours of gameplay by me. I found 40 to be perfect.

Gonna try ur sliders w 40 thresh n let u know
I don't know man. I might just give it a test but I really don't like playing with the threshold higher then 0. The big plays do happen but its not as bad since I have the accuracy at 5 along with the CPUs pass coverage and pass rush at 100. All this seemed to improve the CPUs coverage a little. Its seems more normal now. But I'll check that out.. Post stats from you game when you get a chance..

      Re: Jarodd21's Heisman Sliders

Hey Jarodd, sorry I never got back with you on the Madden side, life got really busy for a while. Anyway I havent bought an NCAA game in a long time, and after reading reviews of this one I am certainly planning on it, and ofcourse Im glad to see you have posted your sliders. How is the game overall especially dyansty mode for offline? Is it well worth the time and the 60 bucks. I respect your opinion and anyone else who wants to chime in here.

      Thanks

Jarrod, when you run the football are you doing a lot of spins and jukes because i dont see how you can run the ball so well in this game. The dline just tosses the oline aside sometimes and its really frustrating. I can't find heisman sliders that work

Thats cool.. I know how it is.. But yeah man this game is good. Its definitely worth the buy IMO. I kind of had to go to the extreme a little bit to get some competition from the CPU but I'm having fun now. Sliders are always needed for me.. I haven't jumped into Dynasty mode yet. I'm waiting for Block and Gaitorbait to drop there rosters then I'm going to go straight into it but I hear its good. A couple of my friends have been playing it and they are having fun.

I hardly ever do any spins and jukes. Holes are usually there and I read them quick and hit them. Its gotten a little tougher with the latest ones I've done with the sliders. Best thing I can tell you to do is drop the CPUs tackling back down to 50(if your using my sliders) and raise the USER runblocking back up to around 25 or more until you get use to it. But its been real easy for me to run with the elimination of suction tackling. I use to run pretty good last year even with the suction tackling so I knew I was going to be hard to stop running the ball. Just do those tweaks and see how they work for you..

great ill try that tomorrow... do you agree tho that the oline is just not that great in these games... I feel like they miss assignments and dont hold there blocks well especially when trying to run in the spread option offense...maybe im wrong tho, anyways thanks for the good work

You know what I haven't really tested the spread option yet. I'm going to do that tommorrow when I get off work. But when I had the USER runblocking around 15-50 the Olineman seem like they were blocking pretty good. Power O, ISO, sweeps, pitches, counters, whatever run I wanted to do it was a big gain every time. The elimination of suction tackling really improved the run game(overpowered it really) Thats why I just said the hell with it and dropped it to 0. I was still having monster games so I upped the CPUs tackling to 55. That seemed to work and I started seeing a little more resistance from them. But yea try putting the USER runblocking back up to around 25-50 and drop the CPUs tackling back down to 50. It should start pumping then..

                  Re: Jarodd21's Heisman Sliders

These sliders are terrible and unrealistic. Never have I seen a Louisiana Tech running back break for 80 yards on back to back plays against LSU. I understand that you went the "make it hard" route instead of the make it realistic route but I'm not using money plays against the computer so I don't need the game to be made extremely difficult. I'm sure they work for you, but in my opinion these are junk.

                  Just my two cents.

I can't help your skill level isn't on the same level as mine. These sliders work perfect for me and there's no chance a Lousiana Tech running back would get those kind of yards on me. I don't use money plays. I use plenty of different plays and formations. I use all different kinds of running plays and passing routes. The Custom playbook was a dream come true for me. So instead of knocking my sliders because your getting handled by scrub schools like La Tech you should look in the mirror, get in the lab and work on your game or tweak it down to your skill level.. These sliders are for Vets and skilled players like myself.. There are plenty of other Heisman or even AA sliders that might be perfect for you.

I'm not trying to argue with you over this man. You came on here bashing my sliders saying they were terrible and junk just because of what happen to you against La Tech. All you had to do was come on here and explain what areas you were having trouble with and I could have easily helped you tweak them to suit your style of play. Everybody skill level isn't the same on here. These are what I use to get a challenge and competition from the CPU. Games turn out realistic for me. I have no trouble punishing Bum teams. I posted stats from all kinds of different games. I basically was saying just because that happen to you doesn't mean everybody is having issues stopping the run against bum teams because there has been people that have came on here who isn't having that problem with the run against those kind of teams. Most guys have different issues. It varies because everybody skill level is different but they either ask for advise or tweak that problem themselves.. I don't have to feel good about being good at the game. I should be after playing EA football games for over 20 years.

Decided to play a mediocre team using a top team and the results was as expected a blowout. Gave up a few big plays in the passing game which resulted into some big plays for TDs(all my fault). I punished there run game like I was suppose to. I ran all over the place with James, Barner, and Seastruck. They really give you a chance to blow out bum teams if you know what your doing even with sliders jacked up like I have them.
